We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Polandthere is very little what could be improved, but the bathroom shower door could be looked into since its not closing properly, so you need to be cautious while showering, not to soak the bathroom floor. Apart from that the main ceiling light didnt work,or I was unable to turn it on, and in the evening the flat was a bit dark, didnt bother me at after whole day of sight seeing :) but I imagine for someone coming on a work related stay that might be a pain.
I had a very comfortable stay at this place, it looks exactly like on the photos.The apartment is clean and neatly prepared to accomodate guests.There is lots of natural light coming from the window taking whole width of the wall, with a small window in the bathroom.The kitchen is well equipped to a point you could easily cook regular meals here, there is a functioning 4xinduction stove, an oven, a microwave and a small nespresso capsule coffee machine.

GermanyThe only thing I think it needs an upgrade are pillows, they were not matching the quality of the rest of the apartment. Maybe also to give soap and shampoo, specifically for short stays.

IrelandWifi stopped working after first day (one router signal completely disappeared, and the second did not connect to the Internet) and despite raising it through booking.com and staff saying it would be looked into, this was not resolved during my 4day stay. (This is more of an issue as many data packages in EU don't include Switzerland and data is very expensive). Lockbox instructions could have been more specific to make it simpler to find (was within the postbox which had to be opened). Similarly key for main apartment building door is finicky and some more specific instructions regarding the key at check-in would be beneficial - I had to wait for a neighbour at one point to get in the main door, but it works okay if you pull the door sharply towards you. . Had to ask how to get basel card on arrival, and then photograph and email through Id card and email address (couldn't be sent through booking app). - this is something that could be sorted beforehand and request for id included in the prearrival info to streamline process
Good access to public transport, nice modern apartment, small grocery store next door and bakery/cafe across the road. Quiet area. Free basel card made available online.
