Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is right in front of the train station, and the check-in took only a minute. The double bed is very large and confortable but takes up most of the place in room. Very cute balcony. Very good hotel for a short layover!

United StatesThis is not a tourist hotel. It is in a small town, right next to the train station and has a good local vibe. The attached bar and restaurant were very convenient and the food was good--both dinner and the included breakfast.

United StatesStairs to enter hotel. This wasn’t easy with all our luggage. Front desk not open when we got there at 2 pm. There was a sign on the door that was locked to the front reception and had a name and a phone number so I called it and it was the lady who worked there and she came to the door for us. We did a short check-in and then got our room key. The room was clean, but the hotel is very dated and there was no coffee maker in the room. The hotel’s restaurant was closed. We were hungry after our train ride. There is only one restaurant across the street and nothing much to do in this very small town. It’s not a quaint village with shops and restaurants. There’s really nothing to do in town. It’s a very, very small town.

Czech RepublicThe stay did not take place because the reception was not working. Upon arrival, there was only a sign on the door with a number that did not work and a key box for which we did not have the password. The reception was supposed to work 24 hours, that's why I chose this hotel. I do not recommend the hotel is unreliable!!!

SpainMy room was on the 3rd floor, nearest to the stairs, right next to the machine room and I could hear a very loud vibration all the time, I couldn't sleep. They didn't warn me about this, nor ask me if I mind the noise. Everything else was fine.

There was nobody when I got there. I have to wait in the cold and there was nothing to make a cup of tea or coffee. There was never anyone around when I needed help with something or just to get a cup of hot water to make tea and I went there with my tea
