We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

PortugalWe loved the apartment, but we would suggest having a blanket available for the bed, because then one could even turn the heating to zero during the night. A microwave is always a plus for anyone trying to eat on a budget, like us, but in this apartment there isn't one, and there isn't really room for one. However forewarned is forearmed and the owners confirmed that this was the case and so we brought food we could heat up easily on the electric stove.
This is really a little studio apartment, so everything is in one very pleasant room, apart from the bathroom. The bathroom has an excellent shower; soap, shampoo, and lots of loo paper are on hand. The decoration is simple but there is good solid wooden furniture and a nice big window as well as a mini-window for ventilation. The kitchenette has two electric rings and there is a small fridge and an electric kettle (besides the capsule coffee machine), but no microwave. The sink is small and the draining board miniscule, so washing up is a bit tricky, but there was washing up liquid and also tea towels. There is a perfectly adequate table for dining, and pans, crockery and cutlery are quite sufficient for two people making simple meals. Salt and pepper were there too, which is handy! A multi-plug extension lead in the cupboard next to the bed turned out to be very useful for charging our mobile phones, as our chargers fitted into them easily (standard EU plugs don't fit directly into the wall sockets). The wifi in the flat is excellent, which was very important because it meant we had an internet connection! Switzerland is not in the EU or in the EEA and we had ended up spending 100 euros in mobile data charges shortly after landing at the airport, after which our roaming account was suspended! It was fairly cold when we stayed, with plenty of snow, but the apartment with its lovely wooden floor was always cosy and warm due to good heating, so that the apparently thin duvets on the bed were absolutely fine. The TV is huge, in the modern style, but we could only find channels in German (but there is Netflix, which we didn't try, which presumably has series in English). The stairs are not a problem for anyone with a normal degree of mobility. The Coop supermarket near the station had very reasonable opening hours, including on Sunday, and the staff there were really friendly. In fact it was striking how helpful everyone was whom we met in Switzerland.
