Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsExcellent small hotel with a personal touch. The host allowed me to check in much earlier than expected. It's located next to a bus station and you'll get a card that allows free public transport and access to all cable cars

United KingdomDid not dislike anything. Was everything I needed for my trip travelling on my own.
Fantastic stay. Made to feel so welcome. Booked in for dinner on the nights I was not staying in the mountains huts, and the food was hearty and delicious. The owner & staff could not have done enough for guests. Will be back to stay again.

United KingdomI'm searching hard here but I suppose one thing that would be nice, is the ability to make a hot drink in your room. It's splitting hairs if I'm honest because you've only got to go down stairs and to the kitchen next door to make one, but......
Golda was a lovely host, offering local advice and a welcoming manner. Breakfast and the optional dinner represented extremely good value. The evening meals were no nonsense and wholesome and the breakfast offered a wide range of healthy options. The location is superb. It's much less commercial than Saas-Fee which I liked.

The hostess is very nice and warm-hearted. The location is excellent. It takes only one minute to walk to the bus stop. The house is very quiet at night and the sound insulation is great. Highly recommended!

SwitzerlandDinner is only offered if enough people sign up, and in the town there aren't many options, requiring a trip to Saas Fee. Not a huge issue but would have been nice to know that upfront.
Very kind hosts and comfortable facilities. Great bus connection to the various ski lifts in the region

Czech RepublicIf you're in town to take advantage of the mountains and local sightseeing, this is the perfect place to stay in the Saas-Grund/Saas-Fee area. The woman who runs it is a gem of a human being and extremely accommodating and kind (she even helped me when I ran into some issues with the local transit system, which she didn't have to do), the rooms are simple but have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The food is also exceptional. I ate one meal at another restaurant in town that was much more expensive, but not nearly as good as the food at Pension Heino. 11/10.

All was great here. I would only add to the other glowing reviews that this is a great place for the solo hiker since you get to share dining tables with other solo hikers. I like to hike alone but in the evenings snd mornings it's nice to have companionship snd laygh and learn together

PolandMaybe the washbasin in the room instead of the bathroom is a little strange solution, but it's a small detail;)

DenmarkCoffee and tea facilities were in a different building so it was rather inconvenient to get that especially in this cold weather. It would be nice if one could borrow a small kettle. Another thing is rules in a restaurant. You cannot sit where you want. Everyone is allocated a seat. Of course, the area is limited but still, surely people would find the way to sit. Also, during dinner rules apply when to take from buffet. It felt rather strange.
Decent hotel. Clean room, excellent location, quiet area. I requested a room with a nice view on an upper floor and got it. Also got a charger for my phone. Thanks for that.
