The lack of WiFi, and that there is no door separating the shower area from the rest of the room.

This accommodation is great value for money (especially in Switzerland!). Located in quick walking distance to all the shops and supermarkets in the center of Kandersteg, as well as to the cablecars taking you to Oeschinensee and Allmenalp. Rooms are minimalistic, but seem to have been renovated recently, and are perfectly suited for staying a few nights. The breakfast is varied and delicious, with freshly-baked bread from the owner, good coffee and a variety of cheeses, cold cuts and jams.

THE. BEST. BREAKFAST. EVER. I have never seen my wife eating so much and so happily. Best coffee you will ever have in such category of hotels. Breakfast also included fresh fruits, freshly baked bread, milk, yoghurt, eggs, cereals, etc.

The view is absolutely stunning. Breakfast is very tasty with a good variety. Very close to the ski lift. Lots of cafés and markets nearby.

The location was fantastic, close to the train station, around the corner , very quiet at night, I slept like a baby on the soft mattress, great breakfast, and host was very kind, went overboard to please us.

The walls are thinnest possible and lot of voices could be heard. I would not recommend that place for a longer stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is also just close enough and the view from the room was also beautiful. The room and restaurant downstairs are also very cozy. The restaurant downstairs also has a nice selection of meals and also priced fairly.

The hotel’s location is fantastic! Frankly speaking? I made a reservation because I had no other options, I didn’t like the pics of the hotel,I expected the room to be very small and old fashioned buuut I was shocked when I opened the door, it was great,spacious,modern,the mountains view is spectacular, so my advice- you should take new photos of the hotel and rooms,this will definitely attract new clients. The breakfast was small but with all essentials and OMG the home made bread,I still can’t forget it!!!!!!! The balcony is also very nice, we bought some food in a local store and enjoyed the view.

This accommodation is good for a short stay in Kandersteg. Check in was easy, and the staff are helpful. Breakfast is included and while simple, is tasty. We had the option of having eggs cooked for us in the morning too. The shower in the bathroom has a good water pressure, and the room feels very private.

There is no hair dryer and they charge an extra 9 chf city tax but they didn't mention anything after check out they will charge.

The hotel is so good with the mountain view and it is near the train and bus station. Breakfast was good. The lady there was so kind. In front of this hotel there is a bakery. They will give free public transport tickets to a particular area after check out
