We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo sign to tell you where reception was (uostairs) or where lift was Couldn't get proper meal on first night. Sheets not ironed. Bedside lights awkward. Cigarette butt's in empty window box Nice pool but not supervised or watched on video and hard to get in and out. I was afraid to use it. One staff member super others not knowledgeable or helpful.

United KingdomSome spa facilities not working or missing. No water or cups in spa area. Generally the hotel needs some TLC: carpets cleaned, rooms cleaned, decoration, lick of paint and it would be good/exceptional.
You cannot fault this properties location, comfortable bed and breakfast choice and quality.

AustraliaDefinitely not 4 star. 2.5 at best. Good location. But run down. Didn’t have toilet paper. Bed had broken springs. One lift didn’t work. Other had buttons hanging out of it. Room was dated. Acceptable as a 2 star. But definitely not 4. Lesson is to look at the booking.com score. Not the clearly hotel provided stars.

Room only had one of each amenity (one small bottle of water, one soft drink in the small fridge, one coffee capsule, none of the other items that were listed as being available in the fridge). Most expensive rooms were no different than the less expensive option, they were just one floor up, so presumably a slightly better view. Spa area (pool, sauna, steam room) only open from 4pm. Service inconsistent — very friendly and helpful young woman on arrival, but on subsequent visits to reception, a young man barely glanced up from what he was watching on his computer to even make eye contact with us.

SwitzerlandAll the carpets in the room and the hallway were old, the elevator was dirty. It seemed strange to me that a copy was made after my bank card at the reception, without any sense, even though they could confirm all the costs were paid and issued the invoice. From a data protection perspective, its an abusive practice, and it really bothered me .
We really liked the swimming pool and the sauna. But the room was not clean enough, old carpets, there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. The room had a balcony with a view to the side of the neighboring building, unfortunately we could not enjoy the lake view. The breakfast was delicious and it was nicely organized.

TurkeyToilet doesn't have a door. Church next to hotel has a lot of ding dong. We couldnt sleep all night long. They don't have dinner and we had to find some place to eat dinner. I paid the hotel price with card anyway they copied my creditcard and said me it was because of guarantee theirself. (It is also weird)
