Great accomodation for family and they allowed early check in which was appreciated

Im used to Redisson Blu properties being upmarket.This property looked washed out. The room was so basic ,old and dreary.There should have been two transparent curtains ,there was only one . The reclining chair made a harsh squeaky noise ,should have been replaced months ago. The bathroom does not have shower hook ,right outside the shower. There was insufficient cupboard space for husband & wife to set out their clothing. The fridge did not have sufficient cooling ,to to keep the diabetic insulin in a cool environment.This fridge is old & delapitated. Should be replaced immediately. I was allocated room 419.

And another 9 for my 4th stay in Radisson Blu Basel. For a first time in a single room, I was surprised how spacious and smart designed it is. Then, as usual, great facilities, clean, efficient AC and helpful staff. For sure I will book back on my next stay 😊

They ask for a review in return for a free drink- and only at the end of the online process do they tell you it’s a non alcoholic drink. So we decided to pay for an alcoholic drink ourselves. The bar said they’d serve a drink (it was 10.50 pm) but we would have to leave at 11.00 pm and sit in the foyer to finish it. Luckily Paddy’s bar is round the corner which serves until 12.00, and is much friendlier and cheaper.

The sink was clogged and smile bad! There was no air conditioning, although it is mentioned available! The air blower is noisy.

The staff was nice, very cooperative and supportive - especially Mr.Ismail in the reception he was knowledgeable and guided me well for where to go in Basel, he also take care of us during our stay.

The spa and pool close at 5 on Sunday (a bit early, since check-in is only possible after 3), but they kicked us out at 4:45. I did not have any bathrobe in my room. I called reception 4 times (because they weren’t picking up) and they told me to get it directly at the pool..but nobody was there and no bathrobe..so I had to go to the pool with my normal clothes. The changing room of the pool were dirty

To be honest, below average standard for a Radisson Hotel (e.g cigarette burns in the carpet in the room) but otherwise a good hotel for an overnight stay

The parking is very tight.

The staff made our daughter‘s 6th birthday extra special by surprising her with sweets & a sweet letter for her. The breakfast is exceptional & the staff are friendly.

Bed was hard, bathroom was small. Shower over the bath , although had a few different shower head settings that worked well.

Excellent location, close to tram, Old town and Central Station. There are multiple places to eat and drink nearby. Staff is helpful and friendly. Free public transport card is a bonus. Pool and sauna are fantastic extras, however note sauna is nude area. Didn’t try restaurant downstairs.

Clean & comfortable hotel centrally located so all the tourist sites & train station are easily reached by walking even though there is an extensive tram network. Pleasant restaurant/ bar/breakfast area with a good breakfast selection
