A perfect room for a family with small kids. The panoramic view is amazing. There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Amazing view from the hotel and lovely people both at the reception and at breakfast. The restaurant was closed on the Tuesday when we arrived, but breakfast the day after was lovely and served with a great smile.

The location is perfect, just in the middle of the hill. The room has a direct view of the lake and the mountains. The breakfast was delicious. And all the personnel was super friendly and helpful.

Very friendly family-run hotel. Cheerful efficient staff. Dinner was excellent, served in a charming setting. The room was immaculate, with a balcony . Unfortunately the weather wasn't great so we couldn't sit on the beautiful terrace overlooking the lake, but a good excuse to return in summer to enjoy the wonderful views.

Only thing I could think of would be to have a nespresso machine in the room.

Our family of four stayed in the family room. The kids loved the bunk beds and our bed was so comfortable! It was clean and the view was great! We popped into Murten for lunch and a walk before heading back to the hotel for dinner, which was delicious. They even had chicken nuggets for the kids. We were heading to the Alps early, so they were so nice to accommodate us with an early breakfast. Wonderful hosts. Great stay.

Everything about the Hotel was excellent. The location was stunning, great parking, well equipped and comfortable room with stunning views. Both the evening meal and breakfast taken outside on a terrace overlooking the lake and alps in the background, were excellent . The staff were excellent too with attentive hosts and Olga the breakfast waitress is an asset, welcomong, friendly, attentive and excellent at her job.

The location is stunning with the outlook over the lake to the town of Murtin on the opposite bank, if you get time to visit the town of Murtin you will not be disappointed with its medieval castle and town walls still all surviving and a bustling shops and bars inside.

Wonderfull hotel, room has amazing view of the lake and very comfy beds We stayed in the family room, which was equiped with toys and games, my daughter loved it! Breakfast was served at the table, so no buffet, but we were attended to our every need. A perfect stay!

The owners are super nice, the view is incredible, food is great, beds are comfy, room is very clean, there were toys for our kids and we loved the private balcony with the view! It was really perfect. The only thing I can mention is that you check the restaurant prices beforehand, the dinner was very delicious but it basically costed as much as our room for one night with breakfast included.

rooms were a little small could do with some more shelf space. would be good to have a booklet of what to do in the area and a menu of the restaurant, internet access, info about the hotel.
