Location was excellent. Beautiful views of the river from our room. Spacious room. Friendly helpful staff. We had bicycles and they were very helpful with bike storage.

Room was lovely and airy with a wonderful view of the Rhine and the immediate area. 2 minutes to the cobbled streets of the old town with its preserved buildings and historic atmosphere. The manager and all the staff were charming and helpful going beyond expectation.

Bed mattresses were firmly comfortable. The pillows, however, while limp and lacking support, also felt as if they had huge quill pens inside. The mirror above the sink was too high and the light around it caused a glare. The sink and counter were poorly designed. The counter was wooden with a bowl shaped sink. The handle, was placed on the back splashing, causing water damage to the counter from dripping hands every time it is turned on and off.

Breakfasts were good, but the cooked options were mostly eggs . We would have appreciated more cooked options without eggs. The location on the water provided a lovely setting.

There is no elevator so if you have heavy luggage you have to ask for help. Staff was kind and helpful though.

There was nothing I didnt like.

Hotel Rheingerbe has a wonderful location. Right on the Rein. The host is a very interesting person who gave us lots of information about the area. He assisted us in finding a good restaurant and walked with us to the restaurant. The hotel is newly renovated to a high satandard.

There was always a smell of someone smoking around. There were no lifts.

The shower is modern with glass walls but only on 3 sides and there is no threshold and the drain was slightly clogged so water ran all over the room. We were able to mop it up with our towels and we showered as quickly as possible. Others had apparently also experienced that because the floor was slightly warped.

Great location overlooking the Rhine. Very updated and comfortable. Close to the Main Street.

The small hotel has the kitchen on the 2nd floor, and is open to all the rooms. And the restaurant is open until 9pm and very very noisy., with staff shouting and banging pots. So if you wait till after 9pm you can sleep, but its pretty impossible until then. The hornets at breakfast were awful, and no indoor eating was available. Some fake hornet nests should be hung, since they don't hurt the hornets, but also protect humans.

The breakfast was very good, eating outside while watching the Rhein activities, including older people swimmimg upstream. Those Swiss. but I ate 2 croissants anyway. Our room had a castle view and was very close to the old town.

We stayed at the hotel for one night to attend a wedding close by. The friendliness of the staff, location and cleanliness combined with a very reasonable price will bring us back on our next Switzerland trip.

Rooms on the third floor very small with sloping ceiling especially in the bathroom. Three flights of stairs with no lift making it difficult for people with mobility issues. Felt the rooms were very expensive for what they were. Breakfast was average, not a lot of choice.

Location was perfect, very few tourists in August. Staff was exceptional, carried our luggage to and from room. Room was suite with beautiful view of the Rhein, best rain shower in Switzerland. Dinner was exceptional Offered courtesy complimentary drinks upon arrival

They could renovate the staircase to the first floor.

The rooms have been recently renovated, all new. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. For breakfast there was a menu to order eggs, omelettes, avocado toast etc. The eating area was directly next to the river.

No lift, no AC, but there was an oscillating fan in the room which helped tremendously & it was super convenient that we didn’t have to ask for it!
