The staff is terrible. They present everything to you like a memorized poem. Any extra question bothers them and they don't know how to give any further indication than what they have to say. Extra fee (not communicated from the beginning) for car parking (although there are not enough parking spaces), fee for renting towels, you have to collect the linen from the bed yourself and take it to the laundry (when you check out).

Location is good, near the river, very close to the city center but also in a silent area.

This is basically a campsite which we didn’t know. The bathroom and toilets are shared with everyone else, including people staying in tents and campers so it gets busy! The cabins get pretty hot during summer, and there’s no aircon, only a noisy fan. We had to keep our window open at all times which is fine except for a noise family parked right outside of our window. What got us is that towels are not supplied and you have to rent them for 4 euro each from the reception which is only open for a few hours a day, so bring your own including shampoo, shower gel etc. Nothing is supplied. The shalet/cabins are really tight and all you get is a bed, fan and mirror. That’s it. If you’ve got two big suitcases, you won’t be able to move around at all.

Location is great! Short walk to the train station and the centre. Although there isn’t a direct pedestrian bridge across the river, it only takes 10 minutes to walk around the main road. There’s only a foot path by the river. The property is right by the river which is great for swimming during hot summer months. Late check in was hassle free and the property allows you to store your luggage in their living room which is a common area with some books and TV which we did and it was fine for a whole day. The cabin was comfy and big enough for two people but anymore than that wouldn’t work - it’s TIGHT. Cabins do have a power socket though and even USB ports for charging in case you forget your adapter which is a nice touch.

The kitchen was not very clean, no shower gel and soap in the showers, showers and toilets were not very clean. Not towels were provided, and I think for the price we paid, at least towels should be included.

The common area is nice, and has incredible view on the lake and mountains

One bulb in a light over the table in the lounge had gone, so it was dark when playing cards. I think the staff do a good job at trying to keep the place tidy, but the shower block was looking a bit tired, and there was always hair all over the sinks and around the wooden basin area. Perhaps a sign to remind people to clean up after themselves? I'm not sure if there's a place to wash clothes, but if there is, it needs to be sign-posted more clearly. I do think the sinks in a communal shower area should be used for washing faces, not clothes.

The kitchen looked great! We didn't need to use it, but we could see it was well-equipped, and we did use the fridge. We were also able to hire bikes from the property.

You could hear the noise of the hand dryer through the night when people used the bathroom - maybe provide paper towels. The decking boards were loose so they were noisy around the bedroom area so made a loud noise when walking on (especially in the night)

It offers good accommodation in a fantastic location. The shared facilities were always clean, the staff were helpful and kind.

The rooms were loud, you could hear everything next door and outside. The walk ways are wooden and creak a lot when people walk past.

Some of the other guests. People in the rooms surrounding us were super loud after 10:30pm and aswell early in the morning. This made it really hard to get to sleep, especially when we were trying to be quiet for those around us at these times.

The location was amazing. It felt super quiet and secluded especially compared to the main part of Interlaken.

A little expense considering they were no bathroom. The price for just a bed was a little high I think.

The bungalow was super fun, it's very small inside but for one night it was perfect. Love the terrace in front or it.

The property was excellent but the beds were very uncomfortable The room was situated near the bathroom and washrooms so every time someone crossed my room the floor squeaked . Because of this along with the uncomfortable mattress I couldn’t sleep the whole night

Small, simple room but ok for short stay. Good location next to the river and about 10 minutes walk from Interlaken Ost train station. Toilets and showers near to rooms under covered walk way. Shared kitchen with fridges and cooking facilities. Loan of plates and cutlery with a deposit from reception. Guests can also use the shared Living Room with sofas, television, games. WiFi good.

The floors around the rooms are creaking so it was noisy to walk around; the walls between rooms were thin too, you could hear the conversations of other people. You need to walk for about 10-15 minutes to get to the terminal since it's across the river but doesn't have a direct access so you have to walk around it, making it hard to get around especially with luggages.

It has a great view of the lake. The common kitchen was huge and complete and this was where we mostly ate since it was expensive to eat outside :D They also have a self-service laundromat which turned out to be cheap! It was a good decision to do our laundry here.

It was just unfortunate timing I think, however there was a school trip and most nights the kids were running around the complex until about 11/11:30, swearing, shouting, playing loud music and no one seemed to stop them. Unfortunately the reception closes at 6pm, so they probably weren’t aware.

We stayed in the bungalow and it was really cosy! We also had our own private area which was great. Only a 10 min walk from the train station too.

No soundproofing so very noisy. Others staying there were not respectful of other guests. I.e. noise, leaving the kitchen in a mess, leaving the shower and toilets in a mess. Bunk bed mattresses were comfy but the sides of the bunks were too high so not easy to sit on.
