It is expensive as hotels go, but Switzerland just is, and this was cheaper than most of the others we considered. Definitely recommended.

This is a really chilled hotel in a beautiful town (Brugg). Worked well as an overnight stop for us.

Cost for the room is a bit on the high size, but unfortunately that is the case in many places in Switzerland

Very friendly staff and welcome. Travelling by bikes it is always nice if there is an understanding that bikes cannot be parked outside. Good size room (triple), basic but clean and functional. Good central location. Breakfast was buffet style and offered an ok selection.

This hotel was at a good location, close enough to walk to the train station and also good for getting to our sightseeing destinations. It was very clean and comfortable with a staff that was helpful and friendly. And the breakfast was very good.

The walls are a bit thin, we could hear the tv of the person in the next room, but it was quiet after 22.00.

Great location, close to shops. And a good complimentary breakfast. There is free parking outside after 19.00, all other times it is paid and limited to one hour. We decided to leave our car in paid underground car park opposite the hotel. For 24 hours it is about 25 francs. This wasn't a problem for us, just informing other guests of the parking fees.

No parking which meant either keep moving the car every hour or parking in the nearby underground car park which is expensive for long term parking. Our room looked out onto a roof and other rooms. As a consequence, the room was quite dark in comparison to other rooms.

Breakfast is too early (6.30-8.30a.m.) and sometimes, rarely though, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom.

I liked the location of the hotel and the friendly people most of all. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room.

We had room 204. Despite having window but it opens up to a closed court yard which is not possible to open fully as someone can climb in. Due to the high temperature of 30°c & more, the room was unbearable due to the heat despite having a small fan. We could hardly sleep. Thank God bed mattress was acceptable to sleep on. Same for the bathroom, needs major renovation. Hairdryer not fully functional. Breakfast was ok but only till 9:30h...rather short on weekends. A hall on the 1st floor with constant activities is rather noisy. Establishment needs improvement.

Brugg a luvly town. Hotel near to train station. Staffs from reception to the man responsible for breakfast were welcoming & warm. Public parking space just across the hotel.

The fact that the receptionist told us that all the parking lots were free (including underground) from Saturday 5pm to Monday 8am. Well, come to find out that it wasn't the case in the parking lot we were at because we ended up paying a 30.- parking ticket. That was very disappointing.

It was close to the sport center. The restaurant was nice too.
