Beautiful village, easy parking in front of hotel,nice room with balcony

High additional cost for our son.

What a find! Such a great place to stay when visiting the baths -- they are right across the street. We arrived around noon and were able to get into our room right away. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river and was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful -- we met two members of the family that owns the hotel and they were full of great local knowledge. Had a great lunch and dinner at the restaurant - especially recommend the pizza!

If pool water temperature can be a bit higher be super nice.

Nice calm environment with the river giving a wonderful background sound when the windows are open. Wellness area is clean and relaxing with free water. Very cozy chalet vibes big rooms.

No slipper for rent or for free, had to be bought for 10 CHF. For this room price they should be included or at least rentable. Breakfast buffet a bit empty at 10 am.

The rooms are big and very comfortable. Nice spa facilities. Everyone working at this hotel is so friendly and nice!! We come back every year because it’s such a treat to be there!

A little expensive but could be the exchange rates at the moment! Would be good to have fresh towels available in the spa and pool areas and free issue slippers or flip flops for hotel guests to use in their rooms and for walk to the spa. Small Gym across car park is not well located or signposted but good equipment as long as there are only one or two users at a time.

In the bar maybe some quiet jazz/soft lounge music would suit the mood better there was a medium piched noise inside and around room 210, probably caused by an airvent/kompressor blade somewhere in the building, it was difficult to locate the source of it, but it was almost continous throughout the day, with a sensitive ear to a certain frequency it can be a bit unpleasant

Vals and Rovanada were great havens, haven of calm, bliss of weather, smooth slopes,succulent food, reinvigorating Vals spa. Kindness of staff and top class breakfast.

The staff are very professional and friendly. They let us use the SPA area after we checked out (the weather was bad). Breakfast is rich and delicious and I recommend the restaurant which makes great pizzas. The hotel is ideally located, opposite the thermal baths.

If I had to make one comment, it would be about the interior design. The interior design of the building is really terrible. This is an observation on my part, but it had no real impact on my stay.

Reception was very friendly, the room and value for the price we paid met our expectations.

The staff was overall friendly except a few things we noticed. One of the staff members was scolding another colleague that he had sat guests after the kitchen was closed. She did this in front of guests in the restaurant (including us) and we didn't think that was very professional. Additionally, the service was a bit mixed in terms of friendly service. Sometimes it was nice, sometimes a bit impolite and it took a long time to call someone over for something and to receive the bill for the entire weekend we were there. We had bottle ordered for our room but there was no bottle opener. My friend went downstairs to ask the restaurant for one, but they informed her to ask at the bar. She went to the bar and the woman there was a bit rude and told her to ask the kitchen. My friend then told her that she was just sent from there and to ask her. Finally, she told my friend that she will give her one but she has to return it immediately. Lastly, I was relaxing in my room and I was surprised to hear a knock on the door and it was maintenance asking if he can come in to look at the heater as he was informed there was an issue (not from us). He left but then came back again to finish repairing it. I thought that was a bit strange to repair something while a guest was still in the room and was distracting as I was relaxing on the balcony.

The location is stunning, and the spa is amazing!

Location and restaurant are amazing.

Needed to iron my shirt but hotel didn't have an iron to borrow, instead was offered the ironing service with a charge. Not used to it as in most hotels I can do it myself.
