Bern can be a bit weird around the train station at night

A relatively minor matter, but the room lighting controls were hard to operate

We had dinner at the Sky Terrace, the food was good, the service totally sublevel considering the level of the hotel, unfriendly , hurried and utterly unprofessional. He made us feel like we were a bother, not guests.

Marvelous breakfast buffet and the gentleman serving us was super professional.

- No view from our room but we went with a basic double room so you get what you pay for

- The location is excellent - Staff on reception and the front door were incredibly helpful, friendly and approachable. 5 star service. - The breakfast was fantastic - lots of variety and very nicely done - The bathroom facilities were nice - very good pressure shower and bath. Twin basins etc. - Spa facilities were smaller than some other hotels but still very nice - The room was a good size with plenty of storage

Everything was to my liking.

I treated myself to this Hotel as it was the last day of a long holiday. It exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and service. It was right over the road from the station and within walking distance of all the the attractions I wanted to see. Close to the water, and other items of interest with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. I had a late flight out of Europe and I was able to stay much later at the Hotel (for a cost) before heading to Zurich. this was a game-changer for me being able to be refreshed and ready for a 24 hour flight home. The breakfast was amazing. I really loved staying here.

The hotel is centrally located and very close to the main train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with luxurious bathroom and toiletries. The included breakfast was amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer!
