The property is very nice, the rooms are less beautiful than the rest but ok. There is nothing in the room fridge! So you need to find a beer in your own because the bar closes soon. The location is less majestic than it seems, because it is placed on a big road facing the lake. It is quite distant from the centre too.

While although the Sunset Bar across the street was great, the hotel is quite close and the music could be quite loud which wouldn’t be a big deal under normal circumstances but it isn’t great if you’re jet lagged and wanting to sleep early. Also, some of the other guests could be quite loud as well but that isn’t the fault of the hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the room felt nice and clean with an incredible view. Some of the smaller things like providing free drinks in the minibar and welcome water/champagne (I think) at the front made it feel like they weren’t trying to nickel and dime you. Also, fhe beds were incredibly comfortable. We intended to look up the brand but forgot! While although a bit outside of Lucerne, buses come frequently so it did not feel like a hassle getting around. We’d definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Lucerne.

Bathroom was a little small. Wish there was a little more room in there but they added that space to accommodate for a larger room in general. No AC in room, know the season time you are going when visiting.

Fantastic place just near the city and by an impressive “Sunset Bar” and access into the lake. Delightful breakfast and restaurant accommodations. You will pay for convenience there. Would be nice if there were more perks for that to guest.

It still feels like a remodeled motel over a 4-star hotel. Common areas are beautiful, but rooms are basic at best.

The only negative was the road outside is quite noisy if you have the windows open. However there was a fan so you could close the window which reduced the traffic noise considerably

Relatively small room, albeit with a small walk in robe, but having 2 suitcases there was little room.

Friendly staff, ready access to a car park (€15 a day) and water front location only 3km from Lucerne city centre. Free public transport pass with bus stop outside hotel, so easy to get into the city or walk along the lake front.

The hotel should offer an included breakfast service as part of the hotel fee, as opposed to an additional cost, as this would boost the guest experience. We had booked this hotel to use the outdoor bar, the “Sunset Bar”, however we were unable to use this as it was closed on the day we had lovely weather and the day it was open, due to the rain, they closed early and wouldn’t serve us. Our room also wasn’t cleaned during our stay, however this may have been as we were only there for two nights. The bed was also quite uncomfortable and there was a lack of air con, only a fan supplied, which isn’t ideal when the room is hot and you’re trying to sleep, due to the noise. If you don’t pay extra to book a lake view room it’s expensive for what you get. The rooms could also do with a makeover to refresh the look as the lobby of the hotel and restaurant is much fresher and modern than the rooms.

The reception and restaurant staff were helpful and super friendly and made our stay enjoyable. The location was great - we had beautiful views of the lake from the hotel front and restaurant and it was right next to two bus stops, with regular buses to the centre, which was convenient for travel. Overall a great stay in Luzern.

The fan in our room didn’t work, we did report it to front desk but it didn’t get repaired. I had a bit of trouble getting help from staff when requesting a couple of wine glasses for our room they told me they were all too busy, eventually the receptionist grabbed a couple for me. The breakfast was quite nice though limited choices, staff at breakfast time were lovely.
