Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyOvernight car park cost 16 chf, from 6 pm to 7 am day after. This is at banhof parkplatz, underground park. Don't challenge the destiny and park the car in the besucher kantonalbank places, the fine is 500 chf (and you will get it for sure even if you park late night)
The good part is to have the opportunity to visit an old Swiss house where the rooms were at the top of the house. There is a bakery below for breakfast To eat, a restaurant from hotel sterne in front or minimarket at train station.

Hungaryfirstly, it was not clear which room was ours, we just accidentally opened the first room and it opened. there was no light in the corridor, kitchen and restroom. I had to use a flashlight; in the dark it was uncomfortable. the restroom wasn’t very clean. Also, the food in the refrigerator spoiled due to the lack of light and had to be thrown out. the kitchen smelled of grass (if you know what I mean). the house is very old and you can hear everything. The light only came on the next morning.
The price for Switzerland is low. It’s easy to receive the keys. There is paid parking nearby. (This is a communal apartment with several rooms)

LiechtensteinSharing the bathroom would be more convenient if the toilet were separate from the other bathroom facilities. Some patience or planning ahead may be required. The nearby church bells start ringing loudly at 6 am, so you may need earplugs or the like.
Finding an affordable place to stay in such a beautiful part of Switzerland is not easy, and these rooms give you the opportunity to stay there for well under 100 Swiss Francs. The walk to the train station is about 3 minutes, and trains leave punctually every few minutes. Our double room offered plenty of space, includng adequate storage space and a working area. The kitchen is quite pleasant and usable once you've gotten used to quirks such as a fuse that needs to be reset rather often. Overall, I was able to conveniently attend a conference in nearby Rapperswil with much lower lodging costs than the other attendees.

GermanyLoud church bells very early in the morning, the street in front gets quite noisy in the morning, the room is very hot in the summer, no free parking anywhere in town.
Old building with vintage character, very close to the beach at the lake and to the train station. Spacious room, you can use kitchen and washing machine.

AustraliaEntrance carpet on 2nd floor grubby & needs replacement. kitchen very grubby and messy. Cooktop wasn’t working & had baked on stains. Easily cleaned with spray oven cleaner. Washing machine & dryer were full. However was a good room & stay. If minor details looked at it would be a great place.
Nice big double room & comfortable bed but quilt covers didn’t match & were very crumpled. (small details) Close to pizza bar, bakery & supermarket. easy free parking nearby. Our room was quiet not on train side.

SwitzerlandOne only shared bathroom
Very nice and convenient apartment. Right next to station and lake. Very kind and responsive host. Maybe just keep in mind it's a shared apartment (4rooms) and their is only one bathroom including toilet, so it might be a bit tricky at "rush hours". Totally recommanded

IrelandNo receptionist available , they did not even email me about where the key was, tried to ring them more than 10 times , the phone was ringing but no answers, we spent 1 hour looking around to find the key but no lock, had disturb and wake up another traveler to help us find the key. the stairs was so smelly, the bed was Brocken, we paid € 90 per night per room which was an absolute waste of money, if we new, we would definitely use our tent in that beautiful weather to spent our night, very bad experience, will never ever use this place

AustriaThe building is old. So expect a few quirks here and there. The church and nearby road is a bit noisy. That's no problem with windows closed. But don't be surprised if you're woken up by church bells in summer.
Lovely old building that's freshly renovated and right next to the rail station and quite close to the lake.
