Perfect staff. The gentleman was welcoming, engaging and 'chauffeured' me through the check-in process from hello to the room door. There seemed in him a passion and interest to hone his hospitality skills to perfection. A small shed behind the building was especially made available for the safe and dry storage of my bike. The room was small but sufficient with a terrace door leading directly onto a sprawling roof top lounge with stunning mountain views. Downstairs, an excellent restaurant.

1. No window, only a door on to the terrace which I didn’t want to leave open all night (too cold/insecure). 2. Only one electricity socket I could find and no switch on bedside light - had to unplug it to switch it off Otherwise all good.

It has written in the website with kettle ,but there's no in my room. And Toilet paper only can found in share Toilet. Even thr hairdryer is very goid quality, but also only can asked from front desk. It will be better written clearly in the booking.com website.

Location is safe and quite,comfortable and easy to reach by post bus from the train station. Public Transportation will be a bit not too frequent but depends on your stay purpose. Staffs are friendly and very helpful.Bed and pillow and blanket with extreme comfort quality.

Nice gesthaus with cozy rooms, bathroom is outside but it's clean and convenient, inside the room There's a sink. There's a TV we didn't use. The mattress was comfortable despite it was two beds instead of a bigger one. If u come by public transport, the bus stop is 1 min from the door. The personal 10/10

The building is quite very noisy. You could hear the walking of the guests in the hall, the noises when closing the door, etc. The wood creaks a lot and that makes it difficult to sleep.

There was a draft under the door to the balcony, which isn't pleasant on a December night. We were forced to block it with a towel. Also, we didn't have an electric kettle, and there were no breakfast options (the restaurant was closed that Sunday), but thankfully there is a bakery right across the road.

We stayed for a night over the weekend. The location was great, and we had parking right in front of the entrance. Spotless rooms (we had 2 double rooms) and no problem with the shared bathrooms and WCs. The room was quiet, had a small sink and mirror, albeit tiny. We also had a small balcony shared with the next room offering pleasant views in the morning. Dinner at the restaurant was good, as there aren't any other options nearby. Our 2 dogs were welcomed and stayed for free.

It's a 2.5km climb out of Brig if you're travelling by bike. With 200 metres of ascent.

Vey friendly staff, and an excellent meal in a lovely restuarant, with Euro 24 match on TV addining to the atmosphere. Garage to store our bikes securely overnight.

A lovely and welcoming place to stay. We arrived by bike, in the pouring rain, and the host couldn't have been more helpful. A place to store our bikes, a table for dinner, and going off-menu to make sure the vegan in the party was catered for. Rooms were comfortable, food was good, breakfast was substantial, and the host gave us some good route tips for our ride up the Simplon Pass.

Comfy room with beautiful mountain views. What made this stay great was the friendliness and hospitality of the owners! Always made sure we were looked after and helped us find information about the town and where to go, even gave a us a lift into town. The restaurant downstairs was great too. We weren't sure if there would be many vegetarian options as we couldnt read the German menu but the owner translated for us and both our meals were delicious

They were closed. Lights out refused to open the front door. When we finally got them on the phone they confirmed they were closed, but refused to cancel or refund our stay. They insisted that we had to do that via booking.com. Then when booking.com called them they lied and said they were open. The booking.com representative left us in -7 centigrade by the side of the road for 40 min in the dark and never called us back.

We had a fantastic stay here. The hosts were incredible, so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The location is about 10 mins out of the centre but so worth it, the views are phenomenal. The breakfast was amazing and we felt very at home. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

In July we had to keep the windows open, but there were often teenagers driving scooters / tractors that caused excessive noise. Didn’t bother us tho, because we use earplugs anyway for good sleep!

We really liked the old house with its history. The restaurant was also very nice with good view from the garden. It was convenient to come with a bus, albeit most travellers stay here with a car (I think). Good shower and sleeping facilities. Also the owners were super nice and kind. We felt welcomed and relaxed at here!

The door into the room was not closing properly, we needed to lock it with a key all the time to prevent it from opening inside the room, and the key with a lock was old, squeaky and loud. The shared WC in the corridor did not have a lock (!) at all, but instead it head two windows (!!) - one on the door (and that is how you apparently are supposed to judge that someone is in, the other window was fully transparent and pointing to the street - a super ridiculous concept. There were tons of flies in the room, we had to kill all of them before going to bed, which took us quite some time. Bed was also super uncomfortable - huge chunky pillow and clunky heavy blanket - what a choice for the warm summer night.

The staff were wonderful. Even though we speak very limited German, they were more than willing to act out gestures and help us when needed. Would absolutely stay again.
