Aircon was ineffective and signage outside hotel was bad.

There was a manager at the reception desk sifting through paper who completely blanked us when we arrived and just left us standing there in front of her for a couple of minutes without a glance. It turns out the desk receptionist was serving food just around the corner and when she spotted us and was free she came over and she was great. Although that first impression on walking into the building wasn't impressive, all of the other desk staff we encounterd were really good.

The room was fine with enough space and had working air con in the heat. It covered all the basics as you would expect from an Ibis hotel and met our needs for a one-night stay. The hotel wasn't difficult to get to from the railway station (we walked but buses were available) and was well located for the event we were attending. I didn't have the correct plug adapter on me and a receptionist lent us one which was really helpful. Hotels can be very expensive in Switzerland but the advanced rate we took here seemed reasonable value in the context of the country.

The hotel needs asap renovating. The room looks old and dirty. The shower curtains were stained badly, the hotel hairdryer couldn't be hung properly, the toilet inside had black marks. No nighttable on one side, nor a socket on the other side of the bed. Carpet in the hallway was old and damaged..

The staff is very friendly! Which makes up for a lot. Also the food at the restaurant (we had dinner) was very good. The location was perfect for the reason that we traveled there.

Really friendly and nice staff, especially to our kids. Great family options with two connected rooms. Nice breakfast with tasty options from sweet to salty. Two heaters/ radiator inside the hotel room, which was great for drying ski gloves. Ski and baggage room right next the checkin.

The room was very dusty, me and my boy suffer with allergies and it was very bad during the nights. Apart from the floors that need extra attention for cleaning I cannot complain about anything else. Maybe the hoover needs replacing.

I liked the hotel, small room but comfortable. Clean towels almost every day. Friendly staff. Very warm (pack yourself light pajamas as it won't be cold at all)

Found a house bug :(

In the City of Sion with easy access, near the main road and with parking. Staff was great :). Breakfast was very good, with a great variety. Rooms were as Ibis, nothing less nothing more. Double beds with shower tv desk and all good for the night :)

I would have liked to have a boiling pot and prepare some tea early in the morning with our 4th floor top view of the mountain peak and the fortress in Sion.

I liked the late check in option the reception offered, as we were arriving later at night, but the receptionist was kind and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed - very comfortable.

I know it is common, but I dislike having to pay for hotel parking particularly when it is outside. Also wish that a kettle would be part of the facilities available in the room

Ibis has a particular price point so you know what to expect. However the strong points for the Ibis Sion were the quality of the reception staff and their welcome, the comfort of the bed put many more expensive hotels to shame and the cleanliness of the room and facilities were very good.

Pay for parking in a periferic zone.

Not bad for 1 night for a road trip.Our room was clean and roomy.the bed was big enough, nice clean shower.The parking isn't free Also if it is open air in a residential street.
