Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdom- When paying the additional charges at checkout, the card machine is programmed to offer the option to pay in CHF or your "home" currency. Even though I selected CHF, I was charged in GBP with a bad exchange rate. - The shelves in the ski room are confusing with numbers attached to them, we were not sure if they were out of date room numbers, so we just had to use a random shelf.
The "Soldanella" rooms are connected to the Hotel Adula by a short underground passageway, which is about a 2-3 minute walk at most, so in our opinion this can be counted like any other room in the hotel. - Bedroom was of a good size. The sofas and balconys were welcome additions. - Bedding was of exceptional quality. - Bedroom temperature was good, not too hot or too cold. - Reception staff were efficient and spoke good english. We arrived early and the bedroom wasn't available, the reception arranged for the staff to take our luggage to the room later without us event having to request it! - The spa/wellness area was great, with a large indoor pool and also good size outdoor jacuzzi/hot-tub pool. - Breakfast was varied and of good quality, even though the hotel was "fully booked" it never felt too busy or crowded. - The ski-minibus shuttle service was very efficient with pickups outside the ski room to directly to the lift station (and reverse). When booking, we thought that this may have been a gimmic, but were very impressed by the frequent service. - Getting to the hotel is very easy as it is convinently located a few minutes walk away from the post-bus stop with express busses to Chur for onward travel to Zurich.

Switzerlandit would be nice to see a sign at the entrance of the pool area that taking a shower prior to entering one of the pools is mandatory; the Flims-Laax slope map in the basement on the wall next to the ski room still shows the lift and slope situation from 2 years ago; a few things changed there, especially in Flims
we got a free upgrade to a room in the main building; the room looked a bit more modern than the rooms we have seen in the Soldanella annex the years before; otherwise, it didn't make a big difference for us, if we stayed in the soldanella or the main building; frequent shuttle service to the skiing area

LatviaThe breakfast could have more variety for the price of the hotel, I was really not impressed. Written communication with the hotel was really burdensome and time consuming, also to make some changes via phone was difficult, but on site all staff members were really kind. Thanks to Anton at the Reception who could arrange the necessary changes of the booking for me and was very helpful and polite.
The hotel ski shuttle bus, ski room and drying rooms were so practical and such a great advantage. The spa of the hotel was perfect, loved the available slippers, bathrobes and additional sauna towels, and great personal. Variety of saunas and all working. The restaurant La Muna serves tasty dishes, although quite expensive. Soldanella room was really spacey and comfortable, although quite away from the main building (all is connected via tunnel), but could reach the garage directly (just park at the second floor of the garage to use the lift directly to Soldanella house).

SwitzerlandWhat has disappointed slightly is the rearrangement of the lobby floor. It has been turned into a dining area and has no sofas, armchairs or coffee tables. It must be a more efficient and profitable way of using floor footage but the charm is gone despite beautiful carpets and furniture. How we used to love staying next to a huge Christmas tree, watch the fire, eat or drink and play a game. It's not possible any longer, the space is functional but not cosy.
We have been visiting Adula and Soldanella over ten years and we have enjoyed its location, history, dedication to great service and cosiness.

SwitzerlandThe service was a bit inconsistent.. some of the staff was fantastic whereas some others were not as good. The prices at the casual dining are so exaggerated. Even at the most expensive burger joint in Zürich it doesn't cost 42 francs for a basic bacon cheeseburger.
Very nice hotel, nice spa, little gym. Our room was great size with very big balcony. Very clean and spacious hotel. There is an inhouse playground for children and Laszlo who runs it was great with our kid.

SwitzerlandEverything was very nice. We had a room for three and the sofa bed was a bit short for a grown up, but very comfortable.
The interior design was beautiful and the restaurant was very good. We would love to know the ingredients of the dressing of the spinach salad.

SwitzerlandWe took the half board that includes the dinner did not include the drinks and we weren't informed before so additional costs that could have been avoided. The massages are not available on Sundays.
Great facilities and services! Staff are friendly, the hot tub and indoor pool had great views and vibes. The shuttle bus was very useful to go from and to the ski lifts. The room amd bathroom were very spacious. Should be a 5 star hotel!

SwitzerlandOwnership apparently changed since our last stay; interestingly, the coffee for breakfast still wasn't very tasty and the room was again very hot and temperature couldn't be set as it is apparently controlled centrally; thus, the window needed to be opened all the time which is weird in times of energy saving efforts; kids eating (apples) in the jacuzzi; some staff with limited German skills; overall, the hotel isn't very cheap as it is true for the whole Flims/Laax area.
The hotel amenities suited our needs (shuttle service, pool, parking); thus, we stayed here already for the second time; cozy and refurbished lobby area, pool of good size (20m long) to have a decent swim, nice outside jacuzzi, comfortable shuttle service to the skiing area, good ski storage.

United KingdomCan't think of anything.
Relaxed, staff and breakfast set up. Set up was buffet but "specials" and tea and coffee brought to your table. As enthousiastic swimmers, the indoor pool 25 mtrs..(?) and quality of the water and almost absence of too many other guests swimming was a dream! Also for changing and have use of the one private shower in the men's or ladies room afterwards was great. Free to use bathrobe and towels, and free flavoured water and tea, plus sunbeds left nothing more to be desired. And then I did not yet mention the view from the pool....⛰️
