Located in a mountain village with a one and a half hours difficult car drive from interlaken ( be careful when using your car) Little bit isolated ( no much things to do). No A/C No safe for valuables and passports.

Quiet place with great mountains view suitable for relaxing and hiking. Free parking. Very nice owner and helpful staff. Clean appartment. Well equipped kitchen. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Free card to access the two cable cars to the top of mountains all the stay long.

1. The mattress was not comfortable. 2. The complimentary breakfast was continental and very limited choice. There should be an english breakfast as the rent was too high for a hotel which is far from town.

Robin was very helpful; location only miniutes away from grocery, ski rentals, restaurants, ice skating, and lifts. Loved the Salami pizza! Breakfast was limited but fresh and very tasty. Will store skis and equipment in basement.

The bed was not very comfortable, and the walls were a bit thin so I heard the people in the next room getting in at 11:30, but otherwise it was very quite and room well organized.

The hotel is very convenient for hiking in the area. The bus stop is 5mins walk and the hotel is situated next to a large grocery store. The staff were very friendly and the hotel restaurant served excellent pizza at a reasonable price.

The floors are laminate floors, so the guests' and cleaning staff's comings and goings can easily cause vibrations and noise. Luckily for us, guests didn't stay up too late, and we got up very early before the staff became noisy..

The room was very clean and spacious enough for our needs, it also featured a small balcony with two chairs and a table. The hangers and shelves/cupboards to put out belongings were also an asset. We needed to hand wash a few items, which we were able to do without problem. As for the staff, the real stellar one was a waitress at dinner in the restaurant. Not sure she's an actual hotel staff member, but she was attentive and caring, one of the best we've met two weeks into our trip The self-serve breakfast fit our needs more than adequately, and a coffee machine that made decent lattes was one of its assets

Construction next door started at 6:55am and clock tower next to our room rang all night.

The rooms was super hot, if we opened the windows then the roadwork was loud or the church in the night was ringing every 15 min literally until 12:30 or so and then started again at 06:00. The pillows were absolutely horrible and finally the curtains were useless, in the morning a lot of light was entering the room. So far, one of the worst experiences in Switzerland. I woke up dizzy because of the heat. I was very angry and disappointed this morning.

Very nice place, great views and pleasant people. The room was comfy for 4 adults. Breakfast was nice, very tasty dark bread. It was fine to get the card for cable to Brienzer Rothorn. We enjoyed everything.

4 star prices for 2 star hotel. - very poor buffet breakfast, cereal and a bit of bread and cheese - No table for dinner offered at checkin or before stay - was told to order takeaway to the room.
