The top bunk is difficult to get in and out of due to the fact that the ladder is off set and there is nothing to grab on to. The rungs on the ladder are also rounded which make it a little sketchy and hard on the feet. It made a big impact in the middle of the night, especially. I suggest adding a handle or two.

Would be nice with a comfy area to hang out. The only options are the kitchens and the terrace. The lounge looking area in the pictures is the affiliated bar.

Nice location, nice rooms. The common kitchen was surprisingly clean, but the smart setup plays a big role. It was so easy keeping your work station clean that all the guests did it. The fridge and storage system works well. We ended up cooking dinners there rather than eating out most nights because it was nicer. The terrace is nice, but afternoon sun is blocked by the next door building.

The doors to the bedrooms are not soundproofed and you occasionally heard other guests in the corridor- but it was very minor.

Wonderful property with great facilities and lovely managers/staff. The kitchen set up is excellent with individual fridges accessed by smart phone app. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They had free hot chocolates one evening and let us share their bbq meal on Swiss day. The place was immaculately clean , extremely well situated and very quiet. Beds were comfy and shower hot and powerful. Great place to stay and I’d be back like a shot.

Located just across the street from Engelberg train and bus station. A short walk to Titlis cablecar. Very comfortable room. Shared kitchen was extremely well equipped. It had everything we could need. Short walk to supermarket.

If you have the car, definitely this place is a gem to stay near Titlis. Specially the kitchen facilities were excellent and we had the opportunity to meet many fantastic people there during our stay. Also from the window we were able to see white covered top of the alps. Alex asst manager was very helpful and provided the sufficient guidance during our stay.

The common facilities are amazing - the kitchen is done so well. You get your own fridge and pantry that you can lock up. There is an industrial dishwasher which makes doing dishes so quick and easy The location is great as you can do some many hikes in the summer from the front door step

The hotel looks beautiful – every corner is cozy, and well-decorated. The property is very clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious, spotless, and super comfy. The location is perfect – just a minute from the train station and really close to the Mt. Titlis transport. Plus, we had majestic views of the Alps and mountains right from our window and balcony! The kitchen was fully equipped and so clean, we actually enjoyed cooking in it. The staff were all super kind, friendly, and welcoming – they really made us feel at home. We’d definitely stay here again on our next trip to Engelberg and highly recommend it to family, friends, students - anyone visiting!

There was a large group in staying there as well. They were at the same floor as us and very loud in the evenings, having conversations and phone calls in the hallway. We could hear every word they were saying.

The App for self check in is designed with so small fonts, too difficult to read for most people! Very noisy from the party location closeby, especailly when we had to have the window open as it was warm.

The kitchen was fantastic! Well equipt, spacious and clean. Really good that toilet, shower, washing tab are all seperated. Amazing view from the window to wake up to!

There isn’t a single thing I didn’t like .

We fell in love with this place . Absolutely beautiful, the kitchen area is gorgeous, clean and it has everything you need. The room was very clean and comfortable . It’s right across the street from the train station . When we had questions Facundo was very helpful and friendly. The view of the mountains is stunning and it’s very close to the grocery store too.
