The apartment is great, very well equipped. It is located very close to the train station, supermarkets, and tram stations. It is also a very quiet building. The owners were friendly and always available for any question.

The parking situation was a little hard. The parking house that was recommended in the welcoming letter was very expensive. However, if you drove around a couple of blocks you were able to find a blue parking spot. Maybe you could write something about the parking app in the welcoming letter.

The shower was super awkward. Not necessarily the hosts' fault but I feel like some slight tweaks could make it easier. Put weights on the bottom of the shower curtain :D. It kept flying inward while we were showering and would stick to you. The bathroom rug also needs to be deep cleaned (smell). Fan in the bedroom didn't work/is broken.

Apartment was super clean, convenient location close to the tram and a bus stop, hosts were very friendly and helpful. We got BaselCards which made public transport free and gave us discounts at local attractions - very cool! Would totally stay here again. The washer and dryer were convenient, kitchen was spacious - lots of room for an apartment in Europe at the price point. The little treats inside were a nice touch and the space felt homey/welcoming.

Great apartment I would thoroughly recommend. Excellent location in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep without having to go into town. Under 10 minutes walk to Basel train station and two tram lines just a very short walk away which are very useful for getting to and back from the city centre. Apartment is modern, comfortable, well equipped and spacious with comfortable beds and very quiet at night. Check in and out very easy. All good.

We had a very short stay at Picco Picasso for a concert in Basel and it was delightful! Easy access and the hosts were very reponsive and kind. Such a warm welcome in the city! The apartment is spacious and fully equiped. We also really enjoyed the neighborhood : lots of nice bars, restautants and cute cafés :) In short, we will definitely be back!

The apartment looked amazing, just like in the pictures. Everything was above standards, very beautiful and clean, all the necessities and amenities in the apartment. They even had Netflix, washing machine and dryer, as well as many more kitchen appliances that you would expect.

The only comment I have would be that check-in and check-out times are very rigid with no wriggle room. But that's a minor issue.

We booked the apartment for eight nights. Only one set of towels per person and NO bath mat were provided. When we asked for more towels, they first said it would cost 50 francs and pointed out that there was a washer and dryer. I responded that I feel strongly that there should at least be two sets of towels per person for an eight night stay. I actually bought some towels before we heard again from the owners. After a delay, they finally apologized for a miscommunication and brought over two more sets of towels and a bath mat. The appliances were very modern, but unfamiliar to us and we didn't understand what some of the pictures were. So it was difficult to choose the proper settings. More detailed instructions would have helped a lot. We had never experienced these blinds where the controls are by the light switch and not by the window. And there were no instructions. Even when they told me there were blinds, they did not mention where the controls were. It's probably common, but for someone who had no experience with these blinds it was quite frustrating. Just a mention of it in the instructions would be great. Although the owners did usually reply in 24 hours, it was only during three short windows of time each day. That timing was sometimes not helpful. Other places we've experienced have been easier to communicate. With an eight night stay, organic trash would get smelly, so we stored the trash in the refrigerator and took the bags every few days to place in public bins. Perhaps a light housekeeping after 4-5 days could help? Change the towels, empty the trash?

Great location, nice apartment, really nice to have a washing machine and a dryer. Also liked the amount of hangers provided. Great to have all the dishes and utensils. We appreciated the tabs for the dishwasher and washing machine. Also, the supply of paper towels and toilet paper.

The appartment is wide enough and located in proximity to a big market and some restaurantat. 4 min walk to a train station. The atmosphere was excellent.

My truck didnt fit in the public parking spots. The apartment has no temperture controls, and it was too hot!!! Elevator is too small for a buggage cart. Building is under construction.

There is a printer for use, and the directions are very well written.

Building is a literal construction site, so each workday morning at 7-8h we would get waken up by very loud drilling and construction works so the alarm clock wasn't needed. Also the hygiene of the apartment was barely tolerable at first so we had to clean it ourselves a bit, floors were dirty and the balcony wasn't cleaned properly. For example the fridge smelled so bad we weren't able to open it otherwise the room would reek so bad to the point of inducing vomit. They have resolved this issue later but it was a really sour welcome nonetheless. house rules were just ridiculous where 750 CHF is asked if you lose a 8€ key for example.

Location within the city and price (only compared to Swiss standards). Also the helpfulness and availability of the team even in holiday season, we had an issue with the fridge which was resolved efficiently the same day.

No sheets for one of the beds. No toilet paper. The host put plenty of menacing notes in the appartement that if you don’t do or do something you gonna be fined. As for instance charging 700CHF for a lost key. Or 1000CHF for smoking inside. It’s ridiculous.
