Super comfortable pillow top bed; exceptional location close to everything right in heart of old town Zürich, close to lake, transit, ferry. Cute room with lots of amenities. Even had a stove top, a water kettle, etc.

You know why it looks really scary from the outside, but this was by far the most comfortable bed. I have stayed in my entire time in Europe. I had the best sleep of my life! It was clean. It’s definitely a really great location and super close to the train and for the price. I don’t think you can beat it.

It’s obviously not luxury, it’s next to a bar and a strip club so the street is a little seedy, but honestly, the staff was really helpful and friendly and the room is really tiny but again that is to be expected in Europe so no surprises there and there is no official AC. It is more like an air conditioning fan type of machine, but we cracked the window open and we’re really comfortable.

The hotel was in a great central location, well equipped and Colin was super helpful and friendly, we would love to stay again in the future and would recommend!

I stayed one night at stattHotel in Zurich, and I really appreciated its location. It’s right in the Old Town, just steps away from restaurants, bars, shopping, and the river, perfect for sightseeing and getting around by foot. My room felt clean and modern, with handy extras like a Nespresso machine. The check-in process was smooth even without a front desk, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, which made the stay very pleasant.

During my stay at stattHotel, I found a few small downsides worth mentioning. The room was on the smaller side, which might feel a bit tight if you’re carrying larger luggage. At night, there was some noise coming from the bar area and the busy streets outside, which could bother light sleepers.

The location is very central and convenient to get to from the station. The room itself was clean and the bathroom was modern. The man who manages the check-in was friendly and very efficient.

The hotel is on a narrow street with a bar below that was very noisy in the evening (the hotel did leave us ear plugs). The room itself was very small and the door didn't open all the way because the bed was in the way. It was fine for one night but we've stayed in better places in Zurich for a similar price.

This place was really nice. Location. Was perfect so many restaurants and bars around. Host was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The only thing we didn’t like was the heat. The room was super hot the ac was more of a fan. Room was super humid.

We loved the attic suite. It was a perfect fit for our group of four! The location was fantastic, and having an elevator to reach the suite was great. I thought we’d have to drag our bags upstairs, but it turned out that only one bed required walking up the stairs. We loved the coffee maker and the refrigerator! I would absolutely recommend this suite to someone traveling during a more comfortable time.

The heat. The a/c couldn’t cool the suite down. It was still sweaty and uncomfortable at 3am. I realize there was a heat wave. Having oscillating fans in the downstairs bedroom and common area would have helped. I slept on the couch because the downstairs bedroom was so hot that I started having anxiety. Having curtains to keep the sun out would also help with the heat.

The location is good. Near the lake, station and restaurants.

Great location, clean, comfortable bed

Very small, especially the bathroom. Difficult to sit on the toilet without my knees hitting the wall, and the shower was small too.

No railings by the stairs. A little dangerous for our 2 year old.

Good location, friendly staff, room size was fine, simple but ok.

Surfaces and floor in particular was sticky or slippy, it felt a bit unclean. It was a hot day and there was a fan provided however when we turned it in it started to leak over the floor. We forgot to put a do not disturb on so promptly had someone open the door at a very early hour to clean our room when we were leaving that day.

Fantastic location in the old part of town steps from excellent restaurants and shopping in a secure building. The person who checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had a fridge and coffee maker. Very clean bathroom with nice towels. It was perfect for an overnight stay in Zurich.

Although it was a "quiet room" it's still pretty noisy until after midnight due to there being a bar on the street level. With the windows closed the sound level really wasn't too bad though and earplugs were also provided.
