Breakfast is from 0800-1000; this isn't horrible, but I like to get an earlier start to my day so a little earlier would have been nice

The property is very nice, everything seems to have been renovated inside and was very clean and modern. Breakfast had the typical selection of bread, cheese, meat, yogurt and fruit. I was also able to drop off my bag for storage earlier in the day before checkin while I went to do Aare Gorge and another adventure. Its also nice to be able to cross the road and access the waterfront which is lovely to walk around at night.

Property was amazing- I would have like more variety of food served in the restaurant for vegetarians, was hoping to try local food but only available if you were a meat eater. The prices for evening meal was very expensive, especially the wine which was average. But think this would be the same everywhere.

Beautiful location and really comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was perfect, lots of variety and perfect start to the day. Staff were lovely and very attentive and very friendly. Felt very welcome. Would recommend to friends and family.

Super location, great facilities, exceptionally clean, on site restaurant and lovely staff also perfect for bikers with the amazing Swiss roads and passes so close and safe and secure bike parking. The lady who greeted me on arrival very kindly said we could park in the bicycle shed in the hotels private car park (accessed up a ramp next to the hotel) which was perfect for our bikes. The lift was great too saved hauling our bike kit upstairs - very welcome after a long hot bike ride. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent.

We loved the very spacious room with a lake view. We felt comfortable and walked all over Brienz, and the experience was unique. My wife and I enjoyed it. This is our second time back.

We had a wonerful time,it was our fourth stayover.The staff are absolutely amazing.The owners always decorate so beautifully,the food is fantastic...and it is extremely clean.Cant wait to go back

A kettle in the room would have been great because we like to have a cup of tea in the mornings and afternoon. We were told that we could go to the kitchen in the morning to get tea and on the weekdays this worked well apart from having to dress to go downstairs and then carry a tray upstairs. But at the weekend staff arrived later and after going downstairs multiple times to see if anyone had arrived I decided it was too close to breakfast time and the staff would be too busy to give me tea.

We had a room with doors opening on to a balcony. The view was so beautiful. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was basic but OK with a lovely fresh fruit salad and nice bread. The evening meals were good, the restaurant was packed all day every day but the staff were so efficient and dealt with it well.

Very well located 10 minutes walk from station ,lake, cog train ferry shops and eateries. Care needed with narrow road and footpath. Very pleasant check in. Lift to very attractive bright clean and comfortable room. Attractive view from this room toward station and distant snow capped mountain. Hotel freshly carpeted very attractive, pleasant interiors. Very comfortable attractive restaurant seating in and out with very enjoyable breakfast.

Great hotel right in the middle of Brienz. Very clean, staff very friendly, very good breakfast, great restaurant for an evening meal. A hotel with character. I would highly recommend this hotel for location, service, food and cleanliness. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us.

Breakfast could be more diverse and have more options.

The lake view is beautiful, and the room is huge. It is near the railway station and the supermarket. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the restaurant is delicious.

- At least a kettle would be nice in the room. Especially if you have small kids sleeping in the room you cannot leave them for some warm drinks.

The lady who helped with check in check out and also for breakfast was very friendly. We arrived early and she just let us park our car there without hesitation.
