Excellent breakfast, and the homemade gnocchi was to die for.... The view as stunning, all you need is a book and a coffee and you could spend the whole day at the terrace.

A really nice hotel in beautiful and quiet Locarno villas location. Absolutely stunning views of the lake from the balcony and the restaurant terrace. Everything in hotel was excellent: breakfast, cleanliness, comfort of the room, swimming pool and so all the lovely staff. Public transport bus no 3 directly from Locarno train station just outside of the hotel (every 30 minutes) and is free with Ticino ticket.

Only the location, but the bus comes very close to the hotel so that helps a lot.

The bathroom was a little too small.

Staff was amazing. All the ladies - at the reception, in the restaurant/bar - they were more like hosts and not like ordinary hotel staff. The location was picture-perfect, overlooking the beautiful Lake Maggiore. Also perfect for my purpose of being in Orselina.

The area where the hotel is located is simply amazing. I had a room with a view on the mountains, the lake and the city, and just being there felt very peaceful. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, which takes you to the city centre in less than 15 minutes. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The bed and the pillows in the room were very good and comfortable - perfect for a good night's rest. The rooms and the entire property are very clean.

getting there from town it is best to take the bus or fenicular, otherwise it is a very steep climb

Breathtaking view, comfortable room, supportive and kind staff (they catered all our needs with a smile), outstanding breakfast (optionw for all tastes including healthy, which is rare in IT) and great location. There's a beautiful and refreshing pool either. All one needs on the heat of the summer. The playground is also a great thing, our daughter loved it.

Booking.com mentioned 19 min by foot to to Piazza Grande. Possible on the way down, but definitely not on the way up!! (due to the stiff elevation and hundreds of steps). But on the other hand, the view is stunning. Bus stop very close by. No bar/ fridge in the room A small wish regarding breakfast: it would be very nice to have some fresh vegetables ( bit of lettuce, cucumber tomatoes, sprouts?) to complement the eggs and cheese /cuts. But otherwise very good.

The view, the peacefulness, the comfy beds. The special Sunday breakfast, with tresse and prosecco ! The kindness and helpfulness of the staff.
