Nice little family-run hotel. Clean and well maintained. Nice pool. Great views of the lake. Free transport with the Ticino Ticket. Good breakfast. At my request, hotel put a fridge in the room.

Excellent breakfast, and the homemade gnocchi was to die for.... The view as stunning, all you need is a book and a coffee and you could spend the whole day at the terrace.

A really nice hotel in beautiful and quiet Locarno villas location. Absolutely stunning views of the lake from the balcony and the restaurant terrace. Everything in hotel was excellent: breakfast, cleanliness, comfort of the room, swimming pool and so all the lovely staff. Public transport bus no 3 directly from Locarno train station just outside of the hotel (every 30 minutes) and is free with Ticino ticket.

Only the location, but the bus comes very close to the hotel so that helps a lot.

The staff was very nice and the room was very nice as well. There is a great view from the hotel, i took some excellent photos just beside the hotel

The bathroom was a little too small.

Staff was amazing. All the ladies - at the reception, in the restaurant/bar - they were more like hosts and not like ordinary hotel staff. The location was picture-perfect, overlooking the beautiful Lake Maggiore. Also perfect for my purpose of being in Orselina.

The soundproofing was poor (I heard TV from another room, and at night I heard someone's snoring). There was a dried cleaning agent stain on top of the toilet rim (not a big deal since the room was clean overall). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the dinner here. The menu of the day was quite poor. Salad made of salad only was more of a joke to me. The garnish was also somewhat weird. Green peas and polenta? You are so close to Italy, you can improve the menu for sure.

The area where the hotel is located is simply amazing. I had a room with a view on the mountains, the lake and the city, and just being there felt very peaceful. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, which takes you to the city centre in less than 15 minutes. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The bed and the pillows in the room were very good and comfortable - perfect for a good night's rest. The rooms and the entire property are very clean.

getting there from town it is best to take the bus or fenicular, otherwise it is a very steep climb

Loved the homely feeling of the hotel, loved the view and pool, amazing breakfast one of the best I had in a long time :) The rooms have aircon which is a big plus
