The restaurant staff were not as attentive as the other staff and we waited a while to catch people’s eye.

We loved loved loved this property. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms, bar, restaurant and pool are were fantastic. The reception staff were super friendly. Lovely little touches everywhere with the arcade machines, duplex rooms, water machines in the hallway and karaoke rooms. The location and the views are incredible.

I wish they either monitored the spa pool more or put the ‘no jumping’ on a bigger sign. It’s a spa not a super 8 kids pool. One day there were families completely ignoring the no jumping and another day there were kids following the rules and speaking quietly, like you should be doing in a spa environment. Would be nice if they added a hot tub for those achy apres ski or hiking muscles

Rooms are nicely updated, location is excellent (close to train station and shops), breakfast is excellent (lots of choice), pool is very large for a hotel with indoor and covered outdoor loungers, large dry sauna and steam room

Not sure why any rooms would just be 2 single bunk beds! I know I select the most standard room there was, and I know the room is not super big, but bunk beds are a pain in the you know what!

The pool doesn’t open until 10am, can be busy with kids. Breakfast is CHF 28 - better to go to the bakery near the station and grab some crossaints for CHF 2!

The property is very newly decorated, everything is nice/modern. The location is 2 mins walk from wengen station and close to the other restaurants/bars. Easy to get to the cable car - also a 2 min walk. The pool area is nice but can be noisy with kids - not “spa” like. The view from the balcony was amazing, beds were comfy.

The price! :) It was the highest price we had to pay per night during our 10 days of Swiss trip (and we stayed in Lucerne, Zermatt, Zurich, Basel). Wengen is a very expensive place. But nice.

Great location - short walking distance from the train station, on the main street with shops and restaurants, very close to the cable car to Mannlichen. The view from the balcony was absolutely wonderful. The pool was great, it was nice to relax there after a day of hiking. The breakfast was very good.

The only negative was that it was quite warm in the room at night. There was 1 fan but it didn't really cool the 4 of us. We left the door to the balcony open to let some fresh air into the room but it was still pretty warm (late June).

We loved the Braunbar! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the location was excellent, and our room (we had a duplex) was perfect for us. We were a family of 4 with teenagers and the balcony was a great addition to chill out on. The pool and sauna added to the luxury feel of the hotel. Breakfast was good and we spent some time each night in the bar chatting with other travellers, listening to music and enjoying some down time. I personally loved the water taps, tea & coffee in reception and the complementary pastries - such a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location. The staff were all so friendly from the reception team, to the breakfast team to the bar staff. We loved our room, we had plenty of space for our family of four but most importantly adored the Mountain views. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and spa area, the views from the loungers were unbelievable. Honestly this hotel was just a dream stay for us.

Because it’s on Main Street, and you must leave the patio door open for airflow (because of no AC), it can be noisy. We could hear people on the street below and across the street in the playground/mini golf area. Also, our neighbors were very loud, singing at night on their balcony. Kind of ruined any sort of a peaceful/tranquil vibe of the mountains.
