The shower is setup poorly and is very difficult to get in and out of. The room we were in had trash on the floor. Not deal breaking but this was a fairly expensive room at the time I booked it.

Curtesy Chocolates are available in rooms without a list of ingredients, potential allergens. We traveled with someone with hazelnut allergies. We asked for a list, but it was not available.

The great decor, ambiance, theme and location. Extremely close to train station, near great restaurants, next to the University. Breakfast options were convenient.

A really quirky hotel . Rooms clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast room is in the old cinema. Chocolate theme throughout and a chocolate fountain in the foyer. Staff very helpful.

I am 177cm/ 5 ‘10 and shower is just big enough for me… other wight and height categories could be a bit tight

Small, yet central- perfect if you just need to sleep and privilege other activities. Perfect location- 1 min from river and across bridge from main train station, but on secondary street- so calm. Old building transformed into stylish small hotel with punchy colours. Cool Can do a check in and keycard programming on your own 24/7 by the hotel entrance.

They ran out of wafers for the chocolate fountain.

Clean and compact with a funky style. The theater vibe in the eating area was cool. Wallpaper was nice and I loved the vibe. Rooms a very small but well laid out. As I’m not in my room often it was cozy and did let me get messy. 100% I’m back next solo trip.

No negatives more “Additional comments” would be that breakfast is available but expensive for what is offered. There are plenty cafes within 5 mins walk which are better value for money. They happily store luggage before & after check in/out but would not leave valuables.

Great location for exploring downtown & Old Town Zurich . Easy to get a train / tram other places. Rooms where very clean & have everything you need for your stay.

Nothing to dislike but be aware rooms and bathroom were compact. However it has everything you need.

Excellent position for being near central in Zürich, walking distance from train station, close to tram stops too. Clean and compact, wonderful base for exploring the city. Was concerned after reading some reviews but it was a very pleasant stay. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Air conditioning worked well which was needed in the 31 degree heat, not noisy, slept very well. Extremely happy that we stayed there.
