A charming hotel in a superb location. Querky decor with soacious roons. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely views across the lake. The porter service was a bonus, and an explanation o how to upload and enter the pedestrian area was clear. Breakfast was lovely, again with fantastic views. We are at the attached restaurant and the food was really good.

Breakfast is fine, if a little basic. Even just having a machine to make proper coffee, rather than just filter, would be a big improvement.

I loved this place. Right on the Ascona waterfront, dog friendly and with offsite parking available, it had everything we needed for the Ticino stop on our tour.

Friendly staff, beautiful house with history, wonderful view from the window, small but clean and cozy room. Since the hotel is in a pedestrian area, upon request a transfer was provided from and to the parking lot, where you can leave your car for 9 euros per day. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, a supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. It would be great if there was a kettle and coffee maker in the room. In general, normal value for money.

Perfect location for the Ascona Jazz Festival - right on the lake front between the main stages at either end. The hotel provided private off-site parking some way from the pedestrianised lake front and provided a hotel shuttle service between the car park and hotel (and visa versa) for pick up and drop off.

Great location. Perfect to spend the evening and travel around the area. Boat station is just 20 meters away for day trips. Very well maintained and clean and comfortable. Restaurant has great food.

The hotel leads directly onto the lakeside with its trees, restaurants and waterfront terraces. Its at the quieter end of the street close to the departure point for the boats and just a few steps form the charming small alleys of the old town. Wonderful to wake up to a lake view. The reception were very welcoming and happy to help. I was able to borrow a bicycle to visit a local museum. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked everything, I already want to return.

The location is extraordinary- in the center of the old town right in front of the lake. The hotel owner and the staff were welcoming, and happy to help in every way. The room, facing the lake, was charming, comfortable and quiet. The hotel, an old house turned into a hotel, is beautiful, and has a terrace facing the lake that is absolutely wonderful.
