The hostess is very nice. The room is amazing: everything is new and beautiful, and the view is spectacular. Breakfast is very good.

It is a little far from the centre.

When I booked the Window it was all about the view. It turns out that the spectacular view is surpassed by the incredible service. Katiusca was amazing! We felt so welcomed and so grateful for all the extra things she did for us. She organised my favourite wine and aperitivo for a romantic evening. We used their brand new e-bikes to visit the town easily. Katiusca brought us some special cake cooked by her mother for Swiss National Day and invited us to join a local celebration. Everything was perfect and I just didn’t want to leave, I felt like I had found a new friend! The whole experience was wonderful. I don’t often leave reviews but this was so well deserved. Thank you. Thank you 🙏🏻

From the moment we booked our stay at The Window, we knew we were in for something special—but our experience far exceeded expectations. Katiusca, the owner, is truly the heart and soul of this stunning boutique accommodation. Her communication with us was prompt, clear, and wonderfully detailed, setting the tone for the personalized service we would enjoy throughout our visit. Katiusca has a warm, genuine personality that makes you feel instantly at home. She went above and beyond, even arranging transportation for us, and her thoughtful touches were evident in every detail. The room we stayed in was beautifully appointed—comfortable, inviting, and impeccably clean. Every element, from the bedding to the lighting, reflected a deep care for guest comfort. Breakfast each morning was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and presented with the same elegance and attention to detail that defines the entire hotel. We truly can't say enough good things about The Window. It's clear that Katiusca has created something unique and memorable in Bellinzona. We’re already planning our return—next time for a longer stay!

Everything was outstanding.

The rooms are designed to make the most of the stunning views offered by the hotel's location. There’s a large window instead of a wall, allowing you to enjoy the views right from the bed – a true luxury. Everything was clean, new, and very welcoming. The host was lovely, and it was clear she paid attention to every detail, including the breakfast, which was beautifully presented. I loved it so much that I used the room to propose to my girlfriend! We will never forget the place! Highly recommended!

Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

Everything was lovely. There was parking as well and entry into an out of the room was very easy. The only thing I would mention but it is NOT a negative point at all is that the shared kitchen is not set up for cooking full meals. It is possible to scramble some eggs or heat up food but not if one is expecting to really cook easily. We were able do more than heat up food but for people who like to cook it is not a full kitchen; it is just a pan or two and a stove top and no oven. This was not a problem for us just something for others to note when they see that there is a shared kitchen in the description. Also Katiusca was always available to bring us anything we needed. She even brought us extra containers for food that we brought from the outside and allowed us to store some of our goods in the mini fridge that is part of the shared kitchen. We highly recommend this wonderful place!

The Window is a beautiful building in a beautiful setting. If you want to go somewhere to enjoy a spectacular view, take some time to relax, and wander around castles, then this is the place for you! It's a short taxi ride from the town center, or a short walk down (about 15min) that brings you past the Montebello castle. You can also walk up about 15min, and you will be at the second castle Sasso Corbaro. Both have beautiful grounds and beautiful views. With it's huge window in the room, I could easily sit in the balcony under the blankets provided, or lie in bed and just watch the day go by, with the sun shining on the mountains ahead. It was a very relaxing, perfect stay.

Great location with parking. The views from the room are amazing. The bed was super comfortable and the bath towels were very soft and smelled good. The shower has good pressure with plenty of hot water. Katiusca is a terrific host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend booking her place.

Mrs Katiusca is a wonderful host , the view is amazing the room is very clean , there is a kitchen with all the supplies and even a fridge were you can buy wine beer soft drinks at any time .Upon check in Mrs Katiusca will be there for you to explain every detail and even book a restaurant for you . Everything was perfect if anyone comes to Bellinzona you have to stay here .

The only negative lets say is that there is not often public transportation during the day and if you do not have a car you have to walk up the hill in order to get back to the window, not bad if someone likes walking .

All is well thought, is cozy and beautiful. From the beginning you feel welcome almost at home.

The amazing view from you room is priceless!

It was a little difficult to find as you pass it very easily. There is no signing on the road. But it was not a big issue.

The owner , Katiusca , is the perfect host. The check-inn is easy and in system. View from room , bathroom , the furnitures , every thing is highclass. Katiusca booked a table in a nearby restaurant and my EV-car got kWH in the garage downunder.

We normally do not pick a hotelroom at this price on our way to the South of France and not sure we will visit the helpfull Katiusca again , but I must say : You should try it - you will not regret it !

Just amazing: the view, the room and the service!

Katiusca is an exceptional host. Nothing was too much to ask. She went the extra mile and beyond pointing out some hidden local gems, washing our clothes (we were hiking during the day), ordering take away food and offering her e-bikes to us for usage.

Easier to reach uphill with a car, but the walk down via the castles was lovely
