Exceptional location, you can see so many waterfalls from there and go hiking. The room was clean and comfortable. The view from the room is breathtaking! Highly recommend!

The bus stop is right near the hotel. Plenty of opportunities for site seeing and hiking trails. The rooms were fine. Breakfast was okay.

There is no supermarket or kiosk nearby. There were also no body washes or soaps in the bathroom.

Great location, very nice and welcoming staff, hearty food with local products. Price is a bit high but for Swiss standards and considering the location it was fair.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. We had a family room which was very specious with new blankets, nice modern furniture, nice windows and a balcony next door. The location was a big plus, we could walk(about 10 mins max) to the cable car which takes you to Mürren & Grimmelwald and higher (which seems to have the most reasonable prices around). Allmendhubel cable car stop had the best playground with a view and also the start for Northface trail. Breakfast was very tasty and offered a great variety with cheese/meets, eggs, etc We had dinner at a restaurant every day for our stay and the food was amazing, the chicken breast with homemade butter source is a must have!

We had some concerns about a shared bathroom but it ended up to be no issues at all for us, there are several showers and bathrooms in the hallway and there was always availability for the whole family.

A rustic and authentic stay in a breathtaking location, with kind staff and great access to nature. Comfort is limited, but if you value setting and simplicity over modern facilities, this place will suit you well. Free parking is available right in front of the property, which is very convenient. The ground-floor restaurant has a lovely view of the valley and serves hearty meals at reasonable prices. The Wi-Fi worked surprisingly well given the remote location.

The rooms are simple and provide just the bare minimum: (e.g., limited amenities, no hairdryer, no fridge) so bring what you need from home.

A beautiful location, tucked away at the end of a stunning valley. Staff were welcoming and friendly, would definitely love to visit again. Better than any corporate hotel.

The Stechelberg Hotel-Restaurant was a great place to stay in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. It's on the last bus stop, so getting there is quick and simple. The views are fantastic!

I really liked the location - it was very convenient. The view from the window was stunning, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Although the room was small, it was cozy and had everything I needed. Most importantly, everything was spotlessly clean.

There was a slight smell of old items in the room, and the breakfast was quite basic, but still acceptable

Cannot beat the location, a few bus stops from the busy town of Lauterbrunnen. Breakfast buffet was ample.

Shared shower was cleaned well, but toilet could have used more attention.

Location, location, location. Sitting on our balcony in the back of Lauterbrunnen valley. The restaurant at the hotel was great for dinner - but not open late so plan ahead. Fondue! Quieter and less tourist crazy than Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken. Good value compared to the rest of the area.

Breakfast was very minimal, but espresso and cappuccino was good. Bathroom is a older and not pristine, if a little shower caulking mold bothers you. Its a rustic stay, but we loved it.

Breakfast was good and the staff were Nice in a verry pleasent area with parking space provided. Room was comfortable but had to go out of the room for the shower and toilet.
