Surprised there would have been a charge (20 CHF daily) for cooking/eating utensils in the room and also wish the door allowing entry from Casa Verdi to the pool was open - I felt like we spent much of our stay walking back and forth in the long hallways.

Staff is exceptional from the front desk to the wait staff to the pool attendants. Pool deck, restaurants and grounds very pretty.

Food prices a bit steep especially for snack meals. I guess Swiss prices but still 22 euros for a small bowl of veg soup I think is excessive.

Stunning spacious room and view. Access to wellness area, pool and classes. Great aqua gym class. Near the station station. Can walk but up a hill with suitcases not for me. Hotel does offer pick up service free but not available for our arrival time. Local bus picks up outside the station and only a couple of stops to hotel. This is free with the Ticino card. Hotel issued link to get this prior to our arrival.

Some of the exteriors of the building would benefit from some paintwork.

The suite was very spacious and more like an apartment, with a good view of the lake. Th outdoor swimming pool was very nice, with lots of space for sun lounges. The gourmet restaurant is also very good, with excellent service. All in all, very good value for money.

Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Pesticide smell inside the whole suite. Cleaning should be improved. The whirlpool tub was not clean so we did not use it. Grout molds can be found in the shower room.

Broken frame on the wall. Dusty under edge of heater. Elevator door squeaked every time it opened and closed on my floor, waking me up every morning.

The bed is kinda stiff

Amazing stay overall, the front disk staff was so welcoming, upgraded our room to welcome us. Did great welcoming with complementary kit. Our suite large and has balcony, room has AC The hotel is an apartments style, with facilities of car park, and spa as well as swimming pool. Just about 15 to 20 mins to Lugano lake.

I didn't enjoy Lugano as a place. Wouldn't for there again. That is the reason I didn't enjoy my stay. Hotel staff are very helpful

The property is very large. Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are good too. We had a nice balcony with our room.

Fairly expensive and especially the restaurant seems to not be sure whether it’s a full gastro or a more modest but portions were really small for the price. If you do not go for a menu or starter main dessert, you’ll be hungry. One of the staff entered in our room without knocking at the door (to check if he had forgotten towels) while we were in.. but that is one instance only overall very nice and helpful staff.
