It was pouring with rain when we arrived & no one asked if they could help with our bags or told us the best way to get into the hotel to avoid getting so soaked.

Beautiful hotel in fabulous surroundings. The honesty minibar was a very nice touch. Lovely meal in the restaurant & an excellent selection at breakfast.

The free cable car and transport pass was a pleasant extra, so was the use of the spa and sauna. Will definitely tell our friends and family about Hotel Waldhaus am see. Beautiful place Switzerland, St Moritz♥️

Lovely single room with fridge and kettle. Good bathroom facilities. Breakfast varied and plenty of choice. Restaurant food good. Staff very friendly. Make use of the shuttle facility to/from the station as the hotel is up a steep hill. Excellent view over the lake.

I especially loved the beautiful lake view from my room. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the variety of tea was excellent. I also appreciated that you could rent a binocular and a backpack for hikes – very practical! Breakfast was great as well. Strongly recommend!

In general the hotel was excellent. The room (lake view) was of a good size for a European hotel, and nicely finished. Excellent location with easy walking access to the train station or a shuttle for those with a lot of luggage or mobility issues, outstanding lake views. The restaurant staff were very pleasant. Breakfast buffet was varied and large and great value. The evening buffet dinner was good, not outstanding but good value for St. Moritz. A 5 star view from the dining room. They provided a transport card for the entirety of our stay providing free mountain and local transport. This saved us a considerable sum since mountain transport in Switzerland is very expensive. Overall excellent value for a nice mid range hotel in St. Moritz, and deserves more than a 3 star rating, 4 would be more appropriate,

Better Air con in the room or more information about the controls. The room was too hot for me so I didn’t have the best night sleep unfortunately.

What’s not to like! Amazing location, looking over the lake at St Moritz. Lovely staff and excellent hotel facilities. Great breakfast. Carbonara was the best I’ve ever had.

Amazing view over the lake. Large cosy room with a modern and spacious bathroom. We had a private terrace with our room that was spectacular. Check-in and check-out went smooth. Breakfast had a great variety and the taste was great.

The heating system in the room was unresponsive and meant my room was too warm unfortunately

Amazing location with great views easily accesible from the city and the train station. We used it as a starting point to Gracier express trip, worked ideally.

Very close to the train station although uphill on uneven roads when dragging a suitcase! Lovely location on edge of lake with great views. Very friendly and helpful staff (front desk, bar and restaurant). I stayed one night arriving late afternoon and leaving earlyish in the morning but they managed to get some laundry done for me (so grateful, thank you!) Room was indeed very small (as stated in the description) but I spent little time in it and was perfectly adequate for my needs, and great value. Comfy enough bed, suitcase slid under it when opened! Lovely modern bathroom. Decent breakfast. Would happily return and have been telling friends that like whiskey to visit!
