Whilst booking they don’t tell you that you have to go in an electric car to the village. The walk is 24 minutes and quite tricky. The kitchen was not accommodating our meal preferences as they only served beef which I don’t eat hence had to track down to the village twice a day!

The view was amazing but the website was very misleading in saying it was a 2 bed apartment whereas it was 2 separate rooms. Our driver Phillipe was incredible! So friendly and a very good human being. God bless him.

Overall - great place, absolutely in the list to come back! But we would like to specifically admit a few points. First, friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to amazing Anna, who made our stay warm and comfortable, introducing the hotel and facilities and sharing a lot of great tips about the places to visit❤️! Greg and Philip (sorry guys if I spelled your names wrong) are also just great, respectful, and helpful🔥. Second, we really enjoyed breakfasts and dinner. Food is just delicious and, more importantly, focused on healthy selections! You could appreciate balanced and delicious meals with a lot of gluten free options, all served warmly and aesthetically pleasing ❤️. Finally, the overall atmosphere is really relaxing and quiet, just exactly what we needed after hectic working days, with private sauna after hiking and beautiful mountains views from our balcony.

It was simply perfect, so nothing to state here.

Where to start? The place is a little island of peace and quietness in the middle of a forrest. At the same time, it is extremely close to the village (15 minutes walking distance). In addition, there is a private transport service organised by the hotel, which was extremely convenient for skiing. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They go the extra mile to make your stay nothing less than perfect, and do so while creating a very personal atmosphere. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which offers a very good selection of local and European dishes, and the wine selection is exquisite. Even though the rating of the WiFi on this website is a bit lower, the hotel fixed this convincingly by providing you with a wifi receiver to take to the room. This fully solved any issue that might have been there in the past, since the wireless internet worked perfectly.

The breakfast was excellent ,special thanks to Petra for helping us have a wonderful and a relaxed breakfast on the sunny terrasse,in fact, the best breakfast we have had in Switzerland so far. The hotel is located in the middle of the woods, so Phillips took us around, to the centre/car park in the hotel's battery operated vehicle,and made it enjoyable and comfortable for us with his friendly banter. A special Thanks to the staff for being so thoughtful and making the effort to send my towel back by post which I forgot there, even without my asking them to do so, really sweet!

From the first communication weeks before we arrived all the way through. - Excellent food and wine options - better than expected, reasonably priced. Interesting selections, locally sourced, etc. - Lovely secluded location with an east 15-minute walk to the edge of town. It is not central. Waldhotel Fletschhorn is one of these unique places where one regrets not being able to attribute a 6th star (although the hotel is only rated 4*). The unbeatable view of the mountains coupled with the kindness and professionalism of the staff makes it a must-see in Saas-Fee.

We loved this hotel! It is definitely one of our favorites! The staff was amazing. Friendly , helpful, warm and lovely. From the moment Phillipe picked us up from the parking area we felt special! Our room was beautiful - clean and modern with everything we needed ! The balcony was lovely to sit on and look at the beautiful view! We loved walking through the woods to get to saas fe! The breakfasts were made to order and delicious. Beautifully presented. We ate a lA carte dinner one evening at the hotel and we are still talking about it! And they split all of our entrees up for us. We can’t say enough great things about this hotel. We can’t wait to come back ! Stay here when you come to saas fe!

Not much to dislike. The distance from the town (0.9 KM) is something other people might not like but we enjoyed the short walk through the forest spotting lots of local wildlife. The hotel electric mini bus was always available if we needed a ride somewhere.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They could not have done more to make the stay better. Nothing was a problem and always with a smile. The style of the hotel is classic, its kept very clean and maintained well. The view from the property is amazing too. We were there in the summer and we found it very relaxing and peaceful. Great to sit out in the evening. The sauna after a day hiking was great . The food menu is small but excellent, less is more in this case and a fantastic selection of wines too. Overall, Its highly recommended.

there wasnt anything that i didnt like, the trip is very easy, you come with a train to the bus terminal, and from bus terminal you come to saas fee and from there the driver will pick you up and assist you

The Breakfast, lunch and dinner was super, every food i had in the hotel was fresh and delicious, the staff were super friendly and treated me like a family, the spa has jacuzzi and sauna, great shower and you can experience snow and hot sauna at the same time with privacy.

Our bedroom was of a decent size but lacked character. There wasn’t a lounge to relax in after a meal.

The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked to order. There was a good choice with eggs cooked in a variety of ways. This was ordered the previous evening. The staff were helpful and friendly and engaged with the guests. Evening meals were excellent with enough choices for our five days. A lift to or from the village was easily arranged although the walk through the woods was magical.

This is a very special place in Saas Fee. You can feel the love and care from every corner and each staff member. Location is a bit decentralised, but in this case it's a plus, because the location is wonderfull, in the middle of the forest, making for a stunning view from either our room and the sauna. They provide free regular lift to the centre by electrical car, which we only used once however, because the trail to the town was just beautifull (look at the pictures) and we always prefered to walk it. A la carte breakfast is a welcome option for us with special diet, since you get to eat exactly what you want. I believe they would be able to figure out something for every allergy or diet. We also had their homemade pasta and rissotto for dinner and it was really delicius. I feel so happy we have chosen to stay here and will definitely come back soon. Thank you!
