This hotel is an absolute gem & WOW factor! The chateau charm, comfort, breakfast & exceptional care from all the staff is unbelievable. Stunning location in nature surroundings, views, the pool, spa, pure heaven... They really working hard to make all the guest happy here. The best hotel I ever stayed.

Very few things actually: Single elevator; garage is across the road and not connected to the hotel tennis courts were non functional ( maybe too early in the season)

Amazing palace which is a proper hotel- can be compared to the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. Lovely lounge with live piano in afternoons, heated pool, steam and sauna, excellent adn well equipped room with a superb view on two sides. The breakfast was a real treat with top notch quality, service and luxury exuding throughout the hotel. The gardens outside with the garden cafe was lovely each evening. It is a top of the line hotel with luxury and comfort every step of the way. My children were thrilled with the unlimited free minibar in the room.

A Magical Stay – Exceptional in Every Way We stayed at Hotel Walther last night and it was, quite simply, exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly looked after – we were collected from the train station and personally greeted at the hotel by the owner, which set the tone for a stay that went far beyond our expectations. The service throughout was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We were generously upgraded to a beautiful room with a view overlooking the mountains – a breathtaking sight to wake up to. The hotel itself is like something out of a fairy tale, full of charm and elegance. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide and delicious variety of options. We also enjoyed a massage during our stay – the therapist was outstanding, one of the best we’ve experienced anywhere. The spa facilities were fantastic, with a range of hot and cold sauna experiences that left us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Every detail was perfect. Hotel Walther is a rare gem – luxurious, welcoming, and unforgettable. We’ll definitely be returning.

I wanted to dry my hair with the hairdryer at the dressing table where the plug was located but there was no mirror on the wall so I had to use the reflection in the brass lamp 😩😂

It was really lovely and the staff were exceptional -they were attentive and professional and really friendly. The hotel facilities were numerous and we were made to feel exceptionally welcome

The most perfect hotel in every way! The staff were so warm and friendly when we arrived, and every staff member we encountered during our short break were friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, beautifully clean and had the most incredible view of the mountains and the hotel facilities were exceptional. We ate at the trattoria and the home made pasta was so delicious. Our only problem was we didn’t stay for longer! We can’t wait to return.

Exceptionally well-managed property, the owners are present and watching all aspects of the functioning of the hotel. Rooms are beautifully decorated and maintained in a prestine way. Very good helpful staff. The shuttle bus was always availalbe as we needed it (the train station is quite far from everything in Pontresina). Waiters in the restaurants - for breakfast - and in the Trattoria were exceptional at their jobs.
