Toilet paper just kept on running out and had to use personal tissues because to ask the owner was more painful than using mine. The owner (male) will make sure to mark his name in the "Rudest people you have ever met so far in this life" list. God knows for what reason he is so rude and worked up but God Bless him. Property is 10/10 and his behaviour -10/10.

The location of the property is excellent. 10/10 for that. Infrastructure is also good and latest. The morning breakfast was nice and had good options. The property is very near to the train station and easily accessible on foot.

The whole stay was great, and the staff is really friendly and helpful!!!! The breakfast was also really good. The location is also amazing - right next to the lake, and you can take a swim in it.

The walls are thin and we were next to the stairs. Could hear people going up and down stairs and above us while trying to sleep.

The bedding arrangements were a bit awkward. Our room slept 16 but everyone was on mattresses on the floor. The mattresses were quite close to each other which meant there was no privacy and felt a little like sharing a bed with the stranger next to me. On our first night, the person sleeping next to me was snoring so loudly that I barely slept. I know it’s a given staying at a hostel but I do think the mattress situation had a lot to do with this considering how close he was to me.

Amazing location and great staff! We really loved our stay and appreciated being able to park our rental car on the property for a small fee.

The showers for me and my friends were annoying, had hold down the button in order for water to stay on also while holding the shower head. The water always switch from hot to cold.

Perfect location, staff were very accommodating, the rooms and bathrooms were maintained very well and the included breakfast was amazing! The view from our balcony/window was beautiful!

The man who rung after we got delayed in Paris that we might be a little late checking in . We were told very strongly that 10pm is deadline. If We don’t make it then No rooms. We made it after rushing & without stopping. But He Could’ve been a bit more understanding and less aggressive.

I feels it needs some more options for air ventilation or some fan system because in a night I always feels that’s very hot place.

My bed was too close to the next person there is no gap between us so it’s almost like sleeping together

10 minutes walking to Brienz station. The hostel located by the lake so You can go and swim from the back garden. Breakfast was great!

The beds are too close by, I was fortunate that the bed by my side was vacant, otherwise I wouldn’t have slept as nicely. The train track passed just outside my dorm window but the train doesnt run during the night so I wasn’t disturbed at all. The kitchen facility is bare minimum with just some cutlery, microwave and a kettle. Few mugs would be nice although they could be shared from the main dining area upstairs.

The staff tried to help me in the best possible way! Sara at the reception and the chef in the main kitchen also helped me with some fruits and a sandwich for my breakfast the previous night itself as I had to checkout early morning. It was a saviour! And the location is of course very beautiful. Its about 15 mins walk from the station but there is also a bus stop nearby. There is a nice common lounge with puzzles and books and a great green space outdoors by the lake. You don’t actually need to go anywhere while staying here to enjoy the view or to swim in the lake. In general it was clean.

Creaky floors. You can hear people walking around and no matter how you tried to move quietly during the silent hours the floors and doors are creaky.

In front of the lake and the view is amazing! Nee hostel. Breakfast is good and also dinner.
