Common area. Next to the lake. Great break and good dining area. Staff was nice and live onsite

We got the 20beds dorm or sth. It was very hard to sleep as several people came around 1am and it kept waking me up. Quite far from train station by walking.

It's in a walking distance from Brienz station, breakfast is covered and is a buffet, it's managed by one of the best people i have come across. Being a hostel you pay way lesser and it's good to see some rules that exist so everyone can co exist.

Hard to pick as you have to be mindful for what you may need to pay. Towels are available on rent. It may be important to rent as there is no way to dry your own towel after use.

the brekfast was average / the location is great

we werea grup of7 muslim friends travelling/ we ordered dinner and we wanted a vegetarian meal , multiplle enquiries were made regarding the pizza which was served ,and the staff assured us that it was a vegetarian pizza/ but when we were servedit contained bacon in it. and therewas one careless apology from the manager. the bathroom ws blockedand floodedand was in no condition to be used/ and when we tried to get it sorted the managersaid it is not his job to clean the bathroom.

the hostel is in front of the lake and has its own "beach", the staff is nice

it can get noisy, and the matresses are not very confortable

The location of the property is excellent. 10/10 for that. Infrastructure is also good and latest. The morning breakfast was nice and had good options. The property is very near to the train station and easily accessible on foot.

Toilet paper just kept on running out and had to use personal tissues because to ask the owner was more painful than using mine. The owner (male) will make sure to mark his name in the "Rudest people you have ever met so far in this life" list. God knows for what reason he is so rude and worked up but God Bless him. Property is 10/10 and his behaviour -10/10.

Very friendly staff. They prepared glutenfree dinner and breakfast without an problem. Locations is awesome, except from the train noises.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, modern, pleasant environment both inside and outside. Hostel is located in a peaceful area.

The whole stay was great, and the staff is really friendly and helpful!!!! The breakfast was also really good. The location is also amazing - right next to the lake, and you can take a swim in it.

Lovely experience. The host - I'm afraid I did not catch his name! - was incredibly kind & helpful. I loved how secluded the hostel felt, with its own garden & wooden cabin -style bedrooms, while also being easily accessible, and right by the lake. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come back if I'm ever travelling through this area again.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Beautiful views and great outdoor area.

The walls are thin and we were next to the stairs. Could hear people going up and down stairs and above us while trying to sleep.
