How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room service fees and when you order something it takes ages before they bring it to your room.
The rooms were clean and they always made sure we had the rooms was clean everyday without us asking for it. The staff always were polite. Overall great location for both vacation and business stays.

The hotel was just okay overall. The room was clean and comfortable enough, but nothing particularly stood out to make the stay memorable. The food, unfortunately, was a letdown in my opioid, and with limited variety. That said, the staff were definitely the highlight. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience better.

Stayed for one night, then rebooked at reception as I had to travel to San Pedro, when I returned I was told I had no booking, which was extremely unconvincing. Towels were old as well

Was charged double for breakfast compared to what Booking.com said which irritated me & when asked about this the staff said that could do nothing about this. Tried to message Booking.com with the complaint but have received no response.
The location was very good & the staff were very pleasant & friendly & helpful. The room were also clean as well as the bedding.

Breakfast cost more than what booking.com had indicated - and the omellettes were cold :( The towels could be upgraded - frayed and sanderpaper-ish. Wifi kept dropping. The fridge was unplugged when we arrived :/
We really appreciated the service - the staff went out of their way to be friendly & helpful. The bed linen was of a surprisingly good quality.

The room was very spacious and very clean. Bathroom was also very clean. For someone like me who prioritizes neatness and lovely ambiance, I enjoyed my stay. The receptionists were all super helpful and bilingual to a large extent.

The room service sucks, every time we called, items from the menu were unavailable and one night the cook wasn't even on sight. The cleaning lady for some reason most days cleaned our room late. We would come back to the hotel from sightseeing and shopping around 3-4 pm, and the room still wasn't touched. We had to complain few times, but thankfully Olivier always found solutions for us.
We stayed there for twelve days over the holidays. My wife and I loved the proximity of the hotel to our different center of interests. It is a very well secured building with security guards and police officers. The staff was good, especially Olivier at the reception who went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. He also took the time to tell us where the good food places were. Just for him, we will go back there.

watch out for insects at the food stand
Breakfast was adequate. It would have been great to have a chef do omelettes for us instead of the already prepared one. Good all the same. Location was quiet and safe. Not too long for town; quick access to transport services - Yango, Uber etc.

Airport pickup was extremely chaotic. Room wasn't thoroughly cleaned, with visible dirt. Bathroom didn't have a door, which resulted in high humidity in the room. Card payment was unavailable at checkout, so I had to withdraw a large amount of cash to pay for my stay.
Excellent location in the Plateau administrative district. Daily cleaning and friendly staff. Room was equipped with dehumidifier. Good selection of fresh fruit for breakfast.

WiFi and Breakfast menu could be better
Gym is small but Good no WiFi there though and Spa people don’t share. Stay was nice. Rooms are big and comfy. Staff is helpful.
