Out of the hustle and bustle of the town centre but not too far to get too. Super Brown store within walking distance that has delicious food made by locals everyday. Bill was a brilliant host and communication from daughter Pasha was very prompt. Was easy to find and had everything needed for a vacation.

Kia Orana. I spent 7 days at Mr Bill's place and it was so cool. Master of all Mr Bill had travelled all over the world in 1960s and 1970s including places so remote that you need Google map to zoom in. His place has everything you need for self-catering. Just 15 minutes walk to 24x7 Open Super Brown supermarket for food stuff. Since the place is on Ring road you can use public buses if running. I highly recommend this place for staying as well as listeing travel stories from Mr Bill. Meitaki !!!

Everything was amazing. Fresh fruit, water in the fridge at arrival. Few steps from the beach, you can literally hear the ocean from your room. The living room is quite big and the kitchen has everything you need. The bedroom is large with space for your luggage. Toilet and shower are really good too. Everything clean and nice!

Such a wonderful, clean and comforting place to stay in Rarotonga. Right on the beach, the views were insane and we could catch a perfect sunrise every morning. Tucked away from the main road, we felt like we were in paradise. The hosts Bill and Pasha are so lovely. As a first time traveler, I was super grateful for how much help we received before we even arrived in Rarotonga. The hosts provided us with lots of information on how to get around, car rentals, activities and all the neat tips and tricks for staying here. We will definitely be returning!

Perhaps having a bit more clarity of what to do with the rubbish, would be great. If they recycle or not, where to put the rubbish and if there is a specific day for it.

Very friendly, quiet and safe. I enjoyed my stay here and the relaxing atmosphere the surroundings provide. For me, being away from town was a bonus. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Base. I was travelling on my own and felt perfectly safe. The location was perfect - I could walk one way to Muri and the other way into town. The bus would stop right out the front and there was a supermarket just down the road. I loved going to the Love Cafe in the morning - again, just down the road. the local people were very friendly, stopping to ask if I needed a lift whenever they saw me. I loved the peace and quiet and going to sleep listening to the ocean. Thank you Pasha and Bill.

I feel very Homely .. And the guest owners are very good and take care like their own. Helped with taking out and guiding with different location to visit and also helped with dropping to Airport and giving etc.

It was a bit noisy from the road traffic. The roosters were great alarm clocks! Cooking wasn't that easy.

Bill and Pasha were lovely! Bed was very comfortable and the shower was also great!

Felt unsafe without fencing around the perimeter. Would be thieves could get access but then you are advised to lock up which I did.

It was quiet relaxing, simple and all the facilities for a comfortable stay where I cook cook and live affordable and simply. The hoses were wonderful, privacy was maintained as well as providing a friendly home environment .
