Our room was a little tired and needs some general maintenance, but great value for money.

Even though our unit was a bit tired, the location to the water and view was fabulous. The staff, bar and resturant were also really good and so convenient. Continental breakfast provided in the rooms every 3 days made mornings simple, we brought eggs and added to it. Would definitely return again!

The rooms are a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The joinery and bedside drawers stuck, the locks were fiddly, there were cracks in bathroom tiles and the shower head height was not adjustable

the house is aging so naturally things are less than new, but as a 3.5 star property it was good value

The beach house was separate from the resort and was thereforee private and quiet the beach itself was in the back of the house and was quite private the bar/restaurant attached to the resort was 2 minutes walk next door breakfast was continental and was provided on a 2/3 day basis with bread, milk or cereal replaced on request bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable

Not enough storage space in the room for clothing and no inside table. Needs chairs inside that are more comfortable. The "Ocean view" was more of a ocean glimpse, you could see the ocean, however, you could see it a little through the trees, but I was expecting more of a view than it had. This is NOT an ocean view like you would think it would be. WIFI was not great either, very difficult to connect.

Great that it is right by the beach with a great restaurant and bar. Very helpful and friendly staff as well. Good to have a kitchenette to use while there too. Breakfast consisted of a whole box of cereal, milk, small amount of fruit, fruit juice and a whole loaf of bread. Extra items were available upon request too.

we had a consistent struggle with the internet connection. It was frustrating having to go to the beach every time we needed access. Including reliable Wi-Fi as part of the standard service would definitely improve the guest experience and likely attract more customers. We were also disappointed with the breakfast. When we booked, it was advertised as included, and our kids were excited about the idea of a daily breakfast experience. However, on arrival, we received a slip in the room stating it wasn’t a buffet, but a basket of breakfast items (bread, butter, jam, juice, etc.) delivered to the room. This wasn’t what we expected, for a family-friendly resort, this could be improved.

We really liked the property’s location, beautiful sun setting and easy access to the beach. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We liked the gestures of help every time we interacted with them, and it was lovely staying and meeting people there.

A bit of doggy doos around the place. Beach was a bit rocky but still swimable.

Staff were awesome and good to have a laugh with. Our room was just the right size for us. Nice and contained and just a couple of steps away from the bar and beach😀 would definitely stay again. Awesome team!

We felt that the resort was tired, the photos appeared to be of a time long ago and some investment was needed.

The staff were awesome, the food was great and the bed was comfortable. The room service was good too.

If we had to mention any small critiques, it would be that a few of the stairs looked a bit worn and made me a little nervous (as someone on the heavier side), and the couch in our unit showed signs of being well-loved over time (maybe a new cover?). That said, these were very minor observations and didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Our stay at Castaway Resort was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is stunning, with the beach - definitely the highlight was just steps away from both the restaurant and the accommodation. The swimming pool was great too for relaxing in between exploring the island. The staff were friendly and very helpful with confirming some of our activities. Between the three of us—who can be a hard group to impress—Castaway still managed to deliver a wonderful stay. Breakfast - Thankyou.

The beach is pretty rocky, with a noticeable current. Dogs barking in the night did disturb me a few times while trying to sleep.

I had a studio with an ocean view, which was great. It was attractively decorated and comfortable. The breakfast basket suited me just fine.

Over all the resort is becoming dated and old style but what we wanted

The position was perfect for sunsets the breakfast was ok and the room was good clean and bright.

the curtain didn’t fully close so if we were getting dressed we had to be super careful where we stood

they let us check in early which was helpful, the breakfast had variety, easy to make friends with others in the resort, and the beach
