Was a late arrival after midnight...so shuttle driver assist....so all okay, but bit dark finding access.

Shower tiling poor.

Great location opposite car rental, Wigmores, Vaima and right on lovely beachfront. Kitchen was well resourced for self catering.

The studio villa was so beautiful, clean and with gorgeous views.

Location excellent. Right on lagoon, supermarket over the road. Spacious well equipped units.

We originally had booked Moana Sands Beachfront Studio villa for one night , on our return from Aitutaki as a place to stay before flying home to UK. Leilani ( manager) sent me a lovely email offering us an upgrade to a luxury studio room and a free late check out in their other Moana Sands Lagoon Resort , in Muri , just down the road . We were thrilled to have this opportunity , and it helped them with another booking for someone else that was staying longer at the beachfront villas studio. We were impressed with Moana Sands Lagoon Resort : every member of staff who passed us or spoke to us were so friendly and welcoming. Our room looked out on pool and seafront , with its little patio area with seating. Nice touch to have a free use of water sports equipment : so much choice of flippers snorkels , reef shoes to borrow ( and obviously wash out & put back after !). Our room had lovely modern coastal decor, huge shower , very comfy king bed and fridge with milk water and tea , coffee etc . Continental Breakfast was with cost of room but other nice menu options to order . Lagoon is stunning , great snorkelling and gorgeous beach. We ate at their restaurant on site and the food was just superb : fillet steak was so tender , the best steak we had in years. Vai ( waitress) was efficient and so helpful . Thank you to reception staff but extra special thank you to Leilani. Highly recommend this place.

This is our second stay at Moana Sands Beachfront Villas. The location is absolute waterfront. We walked out of our villa, and onto golden sand with crystal water, that is perfect for snorkeling. 2 bedrooms - both cool with air-conditioning and own bathroom.

Great location, staff were so nice and room was immaculately clean.

Curtains were so thin the light shone through at night. Unfortunatley on two nights other guests were being noisy in the early hours. The pool steps really need a handrail.

No onsite restaurant or place to have breakfast (assuming we didn't want to self cater 100% of the time) The independent cafe next door was unappealing, especially with a horrible big fridge in the doorway. range of fin and masks, it looks like these have just been inherited by previous guests leaving them. We couldn't get any to fit. Its opposite a 24 supermarket which was handy however on a couple of nights between around 2am and 4pm it got really noisy, not sure why.

Perfect location right on the beach with good snorkeling. Convenient with Wigmores across the road and coffee shop near by.

Stayed in the villas. Got a bit noisy with the upstairs guests. Can hear every move, footstep, furniture movements.

unfortunately can’t get wifi going, so we put our iPhone away and concentrate on swimming😊

Location to wigmores was great, a shame the cafe in front let it down and it's not even attached to the brand. We walked to Yellow Hibiscus, but because we didn't get our own transport, we were reliant on the bus or taxis - completely my problem but it is what it is.
