Fantastic location, clean and tidy with everything you need for your stay. Within walking distance of the lagoon, night markets and several restaurants, also a juice bar for a great coffee.

6 adults and two children under 5, and we loved our Mikara House at Muri Beach Haven. It was spacious, clean, warm, and inviting with lovely furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms and toilets, lots of seating, 4 bedrooms, a nice outside porch area, and lovely gardens. Air conditioning and lots of fans to keep you cool. Just a 1 minute walk to the beautiful lagoon perfect for children to swim and kayak safely. The location was perfect, close to fun activities, and the Muri Market. There are so many positives for this property.

Not long enough lol

Loved how easy it was book, the location, the communication for our lovely host. How easy and welcome we felt. The villa had everything we needed and more, the facilities available were perfect. Had everything we needed if you came with the clothes on your back and togs, you would still have the bestest time here. Loved that we were picked up and delivered to our villa, air con was on, got shown how to use everything. Starlink wifi, for an additional cost but super perfect. Access to kayaks and snorkling gears, had washing machine so was able to clean clothes as needed. Air con was perfect for sleeping comfortably at night. Loved that if we needed to go anywhere, we could organise a taxi ride straight away. But could also catch the local bus. Just a walk either by road or along the lagoon shore gets you to the TEM store or Muri night Market. You can here the drums of Te Vara Nui at night aswell and you can tell what time it is by the drums of the Koka or Capt Tama cruises. The service from Shirley the manager, Matai the driver, Martha in housekeeping, and moko boy doing the gardens(so lush and blooming flowers) everything is perfect. Each villa even tho they are your own private spaces, we were able to interact with other guests staying in other villas and just such a welcome relaxing vibe. Also loved the daily visits from the dogs

Storage and a little smaller than I was expecting

The outdoor seating/ deck area, air con, mesh screens and louvres, great shower, fresh fruit, water and milk all ready for us, little extras like umbrellas, flippers, masks, snorkel and beach shoes all available and several kayaks for guest use; proximity to beach was great, lovely garden and helpful friendly people.

Can’t fault the property in any way

Shirley & matai make you feel like you are at home , from picking us up from the airport to the fresh fruit left for us in our villa. Grace villa was very clean & tidy. Muri beach lagoon is a 2 minute walk, you can also use the kayaks and snorkel gear. The bakery, conveinance store, and car hire are all in walking distance ,the property is in such a good location , a must for all the family

Not enough hot water for 4 people. The needing to wire deposit was a pain. Need to streamline payments to make it easier for foreign customers.

Location was great. Short walk to beach or a few small shops. Easy to walk to the night market. central to other activities. House was clean and spacious. A/C was nice and worked well.

Shirley was very welcoming lovely spot location off the road private and quiet. Facilities were good and it was nice just too have facilities in the villa where you are able too cook your own meal if you don't feel like going out to a restraunt or bar .This is the second time I've stayed here and I'll keep coming back and I've stayed at alot of places around the island Shirley also brings fresh fruit and veges too your villa. Price wise it's well worth it, and very affordable . Highly recommend this place 👌

Some of the appliances did not work well (fans, remote control, TV). But to be fair we did not bother to contact the host to have them fixed.

Fantastic location, very clean place. The fruit platter adds a special welcoming touch. Walking distance to the beach, to the main road while being a little bit secluded to avoid the traffic noise, all this makes out stay there memorable. Single unit with some privacy.

The internet is a little challenging when it rains heavily but that’s no reflection on the accomodation- that’s to do with distance and weather. The roosters are noisy through the night but really that’s part of a relaxed island lifestyle. Stunning scenery and warm friendly people.

What a beautiful location ! Right near Muri Lagoon where we could snorkel and kayak and swim or walk along the beach just fabulous. The water is pristine and a perfect temperature. The house is beautifully built and appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen is really well provisioned and there was even delicious tropical fruit on arrival. Shirley was brilliant in her communications with us, and Matai looked after our every need. The air conditioning and fans make it very comfortable even when it’s humid or wet.
