The location is perfect, right on the beach, easy walking distance to cafes, shops and activities. The villas are comfortable and have everything you need. Host and staff are excellent.

Room was quite dark, not much lighting but you get used to it.

Location was great, walking distance to muri night market, lagoon cruises and te vara nui village! Kayaks for guest use were also nice to have.

The roosters crow very early and dogs barking but that’s normal for Rarotonga

It was in a great location, big rooms and beds. Beautiful view. Right in the middle or Muri beach so could walk everywhere. We had a pool beach view bungalow and our friends at the back facing the mountain. Both really good. Very private with only five bungalows. Made friends with a dog called Sparrow. She was awesome

Beautiful Beach front property! The bungalow was lovely, very clean, spacious, well appointed and close to everything in Muri Beach. Harry, the manager, was helpful and interesting to talk with and the woman who cleaned our room did a wonderful job and so friendly. Thank you! 😊 We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our front deck. The kayaks were in great shape and available to use whenever we wanted. We would definitely stay again!

Travelled with my mother. It’s located in the perfect spot, near the Muri night markets, and right on the beach. The bungalow had everything we needed.

We moved from a different accommodation with starlink/free wifi which would be ideal, especially as the tv didn't always connect to the sky/tv.

Our bungalow was great. Self contained for convenience although we didn't really use this facility. Very comfortable and private and because it was near the back of the property, (not waterfront), our bungalow was very sheltered from the wind which was very strong during most our stay. Kayaks etc available on site for guests to use on the lagoon. Property is situated in the middle of Muri Beach giving great access to all cafes, restaurants, supermarket, Muri Night Market and other amenities. Very friendly chickens with chicks and roosters around the property. Interesting to watch. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing would be there were a few wasps that would come into the room but I guess bugs are a given in any tropical country. We just tried to keep the doors shut when they were around

It was super relaxing and a prime spot right by the lagoon! We watched the sunrise one morning which was so lush. We also used the kayaks one afternoon/evening and were so lucky to see turtles all around us! Harry was awesome and quick to help out with any questions and have good chats! Would definitely book again!

Chickens and Dogs - But as I say this is Raro and they roam where they want!

Location excellent, close to night market, cultural show, Captain Tamas Cruise, Great Tapas Restaurant, Pacific Dive, Sailing Club, Zumba, Convenience store all within a few minutes walk. Located on the Beach - with free kayaks and gear to use. Staff great and very accommodating - even allowed us a 5:00pm check out as no-one booked into that room that day - REALLY APPRECIATED having a shower after snorkeling the passage on the day we flew home. Bed so comfortable and very big and the room has everything you need. You will need to purchase a data pack ( again very common in Raro) but this can be used at the accommodation. Lulled to sleep each night by the roar of the ocean. Yes there are chickens, yes there are dogs, yes there is the odd Party Bus. This is RARO - RARO has those things. But the accommodation is Adults only - so no KIDS!. Would I stay there again Yup in a heartbeat.

Wasps were constantly coming inside the house as there seemed to be a nest next door at the derelict house. A total of 7 wasps I carefully removed during our stay. The screen doors were a hard to push close and was sometimes a struggle.

Amazing location with beach front access and self contained units that supplied all things you can think of. Close to Muri night markets and tourist activities. Free use of kayaks and the pool was awesome too. Milk, juice, big water bottle, tea, coffee and sugar being supplied was a really nice touch. Vodafone hotspot being at the hideaway was handy when we grabbed a voucher from the store to get internet access.

It would be good to have air con as an option. Part of the year it's probably not needed, but it was quite warm at night when we were there.

We had a great 3 night stay to begin our few weeks in the islands. Harry was very helpful and it was lovely to start our trip on Muri Beach again. The kayaks were handy to have and the pool was also good to cool off as the weather was still quite humid when we arrived. It was beautiful to sit on the deck later in the day and at breakfast.

The only personal letdown for me was the lagoon directly in front which the property can't control. It's very murky and seaweedy and you will need to go a little way down for good swimming and snorkelling. Try the area of water between Muri beach club and the island.

Lovely studio whare with sep kitchen area. Full size fridge/freezer and we'll appointed kitchen bits and pieces. I appreciated the icetrays and the cocktail shaker. Great verandah that we spent a bit of time sitting under looking at the lagoon. Also very happy that it had netting on the windows to allow for airflow. The ceiling fan was also a bonus. Really nice pool that was used for a quick cool down dip. Great outdoor furniture and sunloungers.

Totally unrelated and out of the control of the accommodation but the well known dogs wandering around and the roosters crowing, sometimes as early as 4am. None of these were on the property and seem to be pretty common across all or Rarotonga.

Everything about Muri Beach Hideaway was amazing. It was our first time to Rarotonga so we didn’t know what to expect. But this was exactly what we like. I.e. relaxing beach holiday with the ability to self cater or walk along the beach to one of the many restaurants around. Harry and Sian were amazing hosts.
