Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaShower was a bit temperamental with the water temperature, was either very hot or very cold only but nevertheless was able to have a shower so that’s ok!
Fantastic property, has absolutely everything you could need on a stay in the island. Kura was such a wonderful host picking us up and dropping us off to the airport, and giving us tips and tours to make sure our stay in Aitutaki was comfortable. A very warm, welcoming villa, with lots of thought and love built into it! Also a really great location, very central.

New ZealandLoved this accommodation. Kura was an absolute attentive host, looking after us until the day we left. The Roosters were hilarious starting in the middle of the night but the variety of sound had us in histerics.. take earplugs if you don't want them to disturb your sleep.

New ZealandWe were met at the airport and taken to the property which is right beside the hosts' home so they were there if we needed anything. The bungalow is very spacious and beautifully presented with a great kitchen, fresh drinking water, a bowl of fruit, bathroom has a huge shower, bed extremely comfy. Louvre windows provide a welcome breeze and there is also an air conditioner if needed. The crowning glory is the large covered veranda with comfy chairs and beautiful plants. The hosts were so welcoming and they clearly take pride in their gorgeous property. Easy walking distance to explore the local shops and eateries. We didn't have a car for the 2 days we were here and so made the most of exploring the area by foot.

AustraliaI loved everything about my time here from the courtesy pick up and drop off. The hosts are genuinely warm and helpful seeking out a car and lagoon cruise for me (just a hint go with Teking Lagoon Cruises, it’s an amazing day, breathtaking). The place is in the town centre and immaculate, clean and fresh with all the modern cons including a washing machine. Filtered water is supplied and fresh coconuts. The verandah area is lovely and open making for a very easy and comfortable stay.

Our cabin was perfect- with the added delights of fresh pineapples & coconuts. So comfortable, close to food outlets, a washing machine. New ZealandNothing that wasn't sorted once we brought it to Kura's attention. 😁
Kura was a fantastic hostess and went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. We really appreciated the guided tour of the island when we arrived and the attention to detail, which included a handmade ei on arrival and a lovely tropical fruit platter and ice cold nu drinks and drinking water in our room. We enjoyed all the facilities provided, including kitchen area, satellite TV, air conditioning, washing machine with soap provided and relaxing deck area. We'll definitely be back, and will recommend Rangiriri Vacay to our friends and family.
