What a beautiful place to stay! Amazing ever changing views awesome place to sit and relax and unwind. Very quiet but still not that far from everything we needed.

Nothing - everything was perfect

Don't waste your time looking elsewhere - Sunset Quay is the best place to stay in Rarotonga. Lara is an awesome host - so friendly, helpful and kind. The house is incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly want. The layout of the property is great for a big family or group of friends travelling together, there's lots of space and different areas to have a bit of privacy. The location is excellent, around 15 minutes to the airport and the main part of Rarotonga. There's a handful of lovely cafes within walking distance - including Beluga which is the best coffee on the island. We stayed in two places on Rarotonga and wished we had just spent our whole time at Sunset Quay.

Beautiful, clean, and comfy house. Aircon in all the bedrooms. Perfect entertaining areas, excellent for a group/ family. There are so many extras and inclusion, including wifi. Comfy beds and pillows and so clean! Lara was easy to deal with, friendly with excellent communication throughout our booking and stay. Perfect location. Thank you from the Henry family, we hope to be back again soon 😊

That we had to leave!

This is a perfect getaway spot for a group! Lara is the most amazing host and Summer (the resident princess dog) is just a wee gem! The home itself is very well appointed with absolutely everything you need! We had adult kids join us and it was just perfect! The pool is such a bonus and was well used on our stay! The huge yard, outdoor areas, seating and pool hut were fab, the private beach was the icing on the cake. We did quite a bit of cooking and the kitchen was super. The laundry has a huge washing machine and dryer but the clothes line is well situated for drying (even in the pouring rain). We will absolutely be back!

Our whanau loved this place so much!!! It literally had every comfort of home you could want and more!!!!! Beautiful property, comfy beds, stunning location and wonderful owners. Perfect in every way! We were so sad to leave.

I really can't fault anything. It was just perfect.

We loved that we were tucked away in our own place with everything to ourselves. My kids spent more time in the pool than they did out of it. It really did feel like we were in a home, and not an accommodation unit. Having Summer greet us at the front door every morning was an extra bonus.

Spectacular villa! Fully equipped with everything you could ask for. Lara and the staff were so approachable, welcoming and just amazing. It was even more amazing than we could have ever expected. Looking forward to coming back one day.

Leaving and going home 😩

Lara was very hospitable and responsive to messages. The house was in a great location where you can watch the sunsets, it's was clean, tidy and had all of the home comforts. When we arrived there was fresh fruit and flowers (so lovely) The outdoor area was great, we spent most of our time outside by the pool and on the beach.

Lara was awesome to deal with. Super accommodating and nothing was a problem. The rooms were huge and it had a couple of ensuites. The open plan kitchen and lounge were really comfortable and we even got fresh fruit on our arrival. There was heaps of sauces, spices etc and milk when we got there. The washing machine is huge and it has some undercover lines to dry clothes quickly. The winner is the outside area. It has a number of living sapces and we loved sitting under the cover and reading. The kids loved the big outdoor grassed area, the beach right there and and obviously the pool. The house is an easy 10 minute walk to to beach side pubs (Shipwrecked and Wilsons) and Beluga Cafe is a 1 minute walk up the road. This area of the island is not great for snorklening but if you drive 5 mins down the road, it is great. We have stayed in a number of places on the island and this is the best. It has everything you will need! HIghly recommend!
