Clean, spacious, good air con and wifi. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Villa was serviced twice in one week and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to the beach enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets. We didn’t suffer with any mosquito bites and didn’t have any bugs in Villa 8. Was great to have kayaks snorkels and life jackets to use.

The kayak carrier was broken so we had to carry the kayak to the beach which was heavy. As the property does not have a private part of the beach there were no chairs or sun loungers to use. Maybe there could be fold up ones that could be taken down when needed?

Marianne and Wise were so friendly and helpful. We were personally welcomed and farewelled which was really nice. Also Marianne gave us some great recommendations. We also liked how close it was to the beach and that it was more relaxed and quieter than Muri. Also appreciated being able to drink the tap water as it was treated with a UV filter.

Information was communicated before arrival. There was a nice welcome message, and the room was beautifully presented.

The property had everything we needed! It was great to have kitchen facilities to prepare our own food and have beach gear available for us to borrow at any time.

The walls / floor to the other apartments, particularly the one above ours, are very thin. We could hear other travellers very loudly during our stay which impacted our rest. Also, the wifi connection was quite poor in our room, and would consistently drop out.

We absolutely loved the location! Very friendly people!Very close to the beach, lots of places to eat and drink. Not far from the airport or the buses to get to a supermarket etc We loved that the Cooks Oasis supplies water gear, washing facilities (including powder!) and wifi all free of charge. The villa was so spacious and very clean. We would definitely go back to stay!

Marianne and Wise were exceptional hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our garden view villa was so comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed for our 6 night stay. We really appreciated the comfortable seating both inside and outside and although the weather didn’t always play ball we were more than content and comfortable in our accommodation. Wonderful facilities We ate 3 nights at nearby Anchorage restaurant which Wise managed and always had great meals, service and ambiance. W

That we couldn’t stay longer

We had an absolutely excellent stay at Cooks Oasis! The location was perfect, with a beautiful beach only a one-minute walk away. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable, and the gardens were beautiful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything exceeded our expectations — we can’t wait to come back!

Maryann, the hostess was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a low key complex. Great place for our working stay as not too far from the main town. The beach (only a 40 m walk from the room). Was quiet and clean. The water was beautiful. Small pool area, perfect for a quick cool off. Lovely fruit platter on arrival. Nice a quiet space.

We had a lower level apartment so did have some sound from the movement above us…although is wasn’t too bad.

Amazing place to stay, from the lovely, clean villas, to the outstanding management. Marianne, Wise, and the rest of the team were great, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after during our stay. The villas had everything you needed, along with kayaks and snorkeling gear, a BBQ, and a laundry area, all free to use, and the beach is just down the path for some excellent snorkeling. Such a nice quite area away from the big resorts. We will definitely be staying again!

Cooks Oasis is a treasure in the crown of Rarotonga. Everything you need is here, pool, beach, close (but not too close) to town. Beautiful sunsets and great snorkeling right down the driveway.

Great staff, very nice and helpful. Kayaks, snorkeling equipment, DVDs included in the price. Books. Accommodation clean and nice. Close to restaurants and beach. They also helped with arranging a taxi from the airport. Kitchen equipment: toaster, fridge.. all you need for serving food

Super easy access to the beach, close to Black Rock and a fish and chip truck going clockwise, and good meal options anticlockwise. All walkable. Handy shop nearby for essentials. The room was lovely, had everything we needed! Plenty of space.

This spot is right off the beach, and the best area for watching sunset - we spotted whales twice! Friendly staff, we got to check in early and we're very accommodating with our bags. Refreshing pool, good food nearby as well as a short walk to the brewery. Room was comfortable and cosy. Highly recommend

An air con system would have been better as we had the fans going the entire stay, hard to get to sleep with them on.

We stayed here for a quick rest before heading out to Aitutaki. Maryanne was lovely. The place was clean and just what we needed to get some shut eye. We managed to venture to the beach for a short trip which is within walking distance. The plunge pool was also lovely for a quick dip.

The location could be better. There were limited food options within walking distance.

Had everything you needed to feel settled and welcome flowers and papaya made a lovely touch!

Marianne and Wise a exceptional husband and wife Super Team!!...are a great fantastic Management Team and lovely Hosts, they are what makes The Cooks Oasis Special. Location is great, bus directly 1min walk down the road onto main road its short busride to Avarua township and Punanga Markets, all knowledge and info smilingly provided by the wonderful Marianne whom takes care of you just like your family, lovely beach for snorkelling less than 5mins walk, we were upgraded to Garden View room, Villa One spacious beautiful room, with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in whilst on holiday, Thank you Marianne and Wise we will definitely return and stay at The Cooks Oasis we give you 10/10
