There was no internet when we were there. They made up for it by not charging us for some drinks. Maybe you could help me by asking them to change the way they reported the charge in my Capital One Venture X credit card.it shows as " groceries" instead of *hotel*. I need it to be reported correctly, please.

Shabby towels. This is not a good place for someone who cannot walk up stairs as there was no elevator that I saw.

It was a nice hotel with a great breakfast room with a view. However, the place was a little bit run down. The bed was comfortable and, while it wasn’t dirty, it wasn’t spic’n’span. The towels were shabby but the food was good. The location was good for walking or calling an inexpensive Uber. There were restaurants nearby and day tours would come to the hotel to pick you up. The price with breakfast was less than $100 a day so that was a good value for a place close to the lake in the summer. There was a nice outdoor deck and internet.

Sometimes hard to sleep because you could hear everything from other rooms.

Clean. Nice breakfast. Close to the beach. You could walk in to citycenter, takes around 30 minutes.

Toilet had some issues bit they fixed it. To go to Puerto Varas best take a car. Otherwise its a bit of a walk.

The room was very good. Nice beds, lots of space. Breakfast was also good. Fresh eggs and more.

Breakfast was good. Staff very accomodating. A nice older building with antique theme. Needs some work. A bit out off town but no problem as you should rent a car in Puerto Montt.

The property is a 20 minute walk to central Puerto Varas, but there were restaurants closer as well. The hotel is up on a hill. The lobby and breakfast were excellent, with views off the back deck. Room were comfortable with a great bathroom. Felipe at the front desk spoke fair English and booked us a great restaurant in town. We highly recommend this hotel!!!

The shower situation could be updated. It was set up as such, that water got everywhere and the lack of ventilation in the bathroom caused a musty smell. Maybe replace the wood with a less porous material & add a fan?

The rustic vibe, wonderful staff & the layout of the property is beautiful! Cute neighborhood cat came to visit! We are cat people, so it was nice having him around.

It seems that their web site has been hacked and I received a message a couple of days before my arrival with a link asking me for a lot of personal information, including a picture of our ID's. I replied telling them I wouldn't provide such pictures and they didn't know what was I talking about... then they said that has happened to other guests and that this was not the first time they had been hacked

Very kind, very nice, quiet and spacious. They were very generous and gave us our room at 7:00 am although check in was not until 3 pm. That was great since our ETM bus arrived at Puerto Varas at 5 am and there is no proper bus terminal, nothing open, nowhere to sit down and wait. So a cab appeared and took us to the only service station with a 24h grocery store, but they also just sell out of a little window. We ended up sitting in the floor talking to a homeless guy who didn't care to yell to tell us everything he wanted to narrate about his life

Not flexible, for example, asking a coffee at 6:30 to be told you have to wait another hour. Check in from 15:00 also too late in my opinion.

Old room and hotel needs a lot of maintenance. There was a licking in the bathroom sink. Breakfast needs to be revised by a supervisor, very poor quality of food and full of sugary products. Better to have a buffet with few healthy items than to have a table already set up with 2 pieces of cakes, 2 slices of bread, a plate with old cold cut. I watched the table and plates of all the others clients at the end of breakfast and most of them leave behind all the food such as cakes, bread. In the evening I asked to have some warm water for a tea, I have been told that it will be delivered to the room but it never came. The following evening I asked again to the chef and waited in the dining room until it was ready.

Lack of contingency plan in event of a power cut. No clear communication. Poor parking space where cars were placed in front of each other without any way for one to move out. No hangers in the room to keep your clothes.

A lady in the kitchen ( I think she was Eileen) was extremely helpful while there was a power cut in the hotel and there was no water. We came from a long day hike and had no lunch and were planning to have an early dinner when we check in. However, as we entered and paid for the place, the guy told us about the lack of electricity and water on the premises. She made us some good pizza and we had a few drinks as well. That was the only good thing about the stay

Dirty, messy, smell terrible, bad towels, no bath paper, curtains malfunctioning, bad breakfast just bread and more bread, almost no fruits, no grains, no cheese, no juice, etc

The hotel is showing its age, the doors are squeaking and some are hard to close, but still a very nice hotel. 25 USD for one hour in the hot tub felt excessive.

Cozy boutique feel, nice breakfast, awesome views of the lake, great amenities, great staff.
