Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ChileIt was our fault to notice an A/C in the living room, which was hidden behind a curtain. That would had allowed our son to sleep in the huge bed sofa. Some information would had been appreciated.

NorwayThe wifi was very inconsistent throughout my stay. It's sad that the wifi didn't work on the roof terrace, as this is a very nice spot to relax and do a little work.
The room was very spacious, clean and had a very good bed. The location is close to Vitacura, but you also have the Christobal in a short distance. The hotel was very quiet, and even the highway just outside didn't affect the sleeping because of 4 layers of glassing.

United StatesAt night, its very hard to tell its the hotel. We arrived late, around 11pm. Since they have gates around the hotel, the hotel looked like a condo building, not a hotel. And the signage for the hotel (which we did not see till later) is up on the side of the building. Neither we nor our taxi driver thought we had the right place. Once we got out of the taxi and buzzed the gate we could see the sign up high on the side of the building. They really need to put a sign IN FRONT so its clear that it’s the hotel. (if they had one, I never saw it) Layout of the room was another issue. Overall its a big space..but taken up by what is likely the building structure columns., which with that and the building being not that big, the room was a bit of a maze to get around (could not even move my roller bag around without picking it up to turn sideways to get around some pillars and furniture. Same thing in the breakfast buffet. You had to wander around several small rooms to get your food due to the layout and structure. The breakfast buffet was ok, but not as extensive as most places we stayed. While it had the usual assortment of breads, cereals, meats and cheeses, along with scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage, the assortment of pastries and other times was a bit lean. Part of the issue is, they don’t have a lot of space as it is and have to spread things out over several rooms. Also, the AC is a single wall unit. Which does a good job in the main bedroom living room area, but the rest of the suite remains hotter. They could really use a central air unit, or a second wall unit given the size of the space.
We had one of their suites, which was nice and reasonably large and well appointed with couches, eating table, desk and large bed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of space. Had a bathtub shower combination. The room has windows on two of the sides so you get a good view from there…but the hot sun would come in and heat the place faster than the AC could cool it. So we had to make sure the drapes were drawn most of the time. Wi-Fi worked well (they had a repeater in the room. smart) Plenty of plug outlets where you need them given all the gadgets we have these days. Service was top notch. Front desk people were very helpful with our questions. Housekeeping and breakfast staff were professional, and as the suite is on the 5th floor near the spa and pool, the spa person helped open doors for me when she saw my hands were full. The location is pretty good as you are in a residential area, but a 5 min walk to the big Costanera Center mall, where there are tons of shops and restaurants, including a Jumbo super market. Many other restaurants in that area and 5-10 min from there. The website photos are a fair indication of the rooms and hotel (buffet picture seemed a bit better than it was). The price is the key for what you are getting in comparison to staying at one of the bigger fancy hotels. For us, the smaller boutique hotel and price fits our style.

United StatesBreakfast was a little pricey, but then, Santiago in general is an expensive city (in South American terms).
The location of the hotel (Providencia; near Sky Santiago) is very good. The rooms are a good size, very clean, and well maintained. Lots of hot water and the internet service was solid! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only had one dinner in the restaurant, and the food was excellent.
