The extra bed in my room was not very comfortable. The bed was noisy and the mattress was too soft .

The hotel is a 1870 house fully renovated that keeps all the antique charm with a modern comfort. It is located right in the fun tourist area and surrounded by nice interesting streets , coffee shops and restaurants. Very nice friendly staff .Italo and Natalie are very charming.

As there was no air-conditioning, we needed to open the window, which was fine because the weather was cool, especially at night. However, there was a street light right outside the window, so we had to close the curtain over the window, blocking circulation. Minor inconvenience.

Great location and very helpful recommending restaurants, etc. We loved breakfast on the terrace, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and watching the fireworks from there on New Year's Eve. Also loved the historic character of the hotel. The room was small but comfortable and everything we needed. (I wrote a previous review based on a different place. So sorry!)

Everything about this stay was excellent and aligned to the feedback on the reviews. Felipe and his staff were so responsive throughout the reservation process and helped answer all my questions. They even arranged for last minute parking needs after we decided to get a rental car. Location was excellent with wonderful views of the city at anytime of day. A great outdoor breakfast option was the perfect way to start each day. Felipe helped us with some tourist info we needed for our day trips and staff offered to make us a breakfast to go on last day since we were leaving before breakfast hours. This was much appreciated. Thx for making our stay in Valparaiso memorable.

The view from the terrace was great. Everyone at the front desk offered helpful advice and was incredibly accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. The kids loved the family room we had. We were in the coolest part of the city and it was walkable to a lot of attractions. Keep in mind, there is no elevator and there is are steps to the breakfast area and rooms.

The location was fantastic to see Valparaiso, its steps from restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great, and the view from the rooftop was a nice compliment. The staff was so nice and welcoming, I will absolutely stay here again.

Nothing I don't like, it was a perfect stay. My friend is a light sleeper, hotel is at the side of cobblestone road, only tiny concern was traffic at night.

Smart & kind owners, Juliana & Philippe (speak English too) helped guests to weed out tip-haggling taxi driver, offer tips on travelling safely around the neighborhood and helped us with our heavy luggage. Delicious breakfast at top-floor cafe, clean and modern rooms, beautiful decor.

The single bed was not as comfortable as the king one, but it was still good.

Loved this hotel! Everything about it was amazing, heritage building, in the heart of an amazing historic neighbourhood, the views on the terrace are unbelievable (day and night), the staff incredibly nice and helpful, so clean. The breakfast was plentiful as well, wide a variety of things: cereals, yogurt, fruit, milk & juice, coffee and teas, diffident breads, eggs, ham and cheese, really good selection and freshly made.

Matrace was old and not good to sleep on Breakfast was very basic and the coffee was bad

Not sure why no reviews before picked this up: the location is terrible as it is right on the main road of the cerro and there are cars, trucks and motorcycles all night long and it is very loud! Impossible to sleep. Look for a place that is not on this main road!
