The property was just as described, and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They were wonderful and very responsive to questions and helped us communicate with our rental car company and tour company. Absolutely wonderful!

Cahanas Raupa exceed or expectations in every manner. The host was fantastic and accommodated all requested needs. Accommodation was very comfortable and in a very nice location close to town and especially close to the Tapai festival area. The exterior compound was quite attractive and the porch seating a nice plus. The fan was very helpful as we were here in the summer.

WiFi wasn’t fantastic but I think this goes for all of Rapa Nui as it’s so very remote.

The apartment was beautiful, very well equipped in the kitchen and with two fans. The bed was very comfortable. Ximena was a brilliant host, helping with any requests, booking tours and taxis. It’s a 10 minute walk into Hanga Roa town so super convenient location too. Rapa Nui is an amazing island, I loved literally everything about it!

No air-conditioning but I understand that is the case for all of the hotels, hostels and other rental properties on the island. Problem is you have to keep the windows (which have mosquito mesh) open and it’s noisy. Late into the night and early morning, you’ll hear the road traffic and neighbours who also have their windows open. There are cockroaches and small lizards, but then again I believe that’s the case in all accommodations on the island.

The outdoor space including the two hammocks are nice place to relax. Relatively close to the shore (1 block away from shore) and town centre (12 min walk to town centre). The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Owner provides a large 5L container of water for free and you can buy more. Small food store around the corner. Friendly and helpful staff!

Nothing not to like.... I guess if you're one who likes to sleep in the crowing roosters in the morning may upset you, but I think that's true of anywhere on the island.

Peaceful and quiet tropical paradise. The cabana was perfect and clean, bed was comfortable and the location close (5-10min. walk) to the main strip and coastal restaurants. Ximena is a friendly and kind host who speaks excellent English.

I wish I had booked a longer trip

The location is excellent. Not much traffic, so almost no road noise. A 2k walk from the airport. There is a small grocery store just outside of the property. The cabanas are spacious and well-appointed. I made breakfast there every day. The owners are kind, helpful, and full of excellent advice. The location is a 4-minute walk to an excellent restaurant, 5-minute walk to moai, and 7 minute-walk to a great coffee and pastry place. Each cabana has a private porch, which is great!

Breakfast is not included, but doesn't bother that much because there is a ton of choice across the island. The path is a bit muddy at the entrance of the gate, would be really great if it could be improved. The wifi is not quick enough but still understandable due to the slow speed of the entire island.

Great living environment. The single house is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. There is a small balcony with resting chairs, a perfect space for meditation, and star gazing.

We loved our stay here! Ximena was so helpful and went out of her way to make our visit comfortable. The unit was lovely, the bed was comfy, the gardens are beautiful, and it was about a 15 minute stroll into downtown Hanga Roa. There's a little minimarket right next door to get groceries, or a coffee or ice cream, which are great when you're swinging on the hammocks in the garden. Strong wi-fi too.

It's impossible to set the right water temperature in the shower: it's either too hot or cold. No door between the living room and the bedroom, limited lights in the bedroom.

Location close to the center, to the swimming spot, and to the Moai site known to be good to watch the sunset, size of the room, balcony. A big thank you to the owner who drove us to the airport on the Xmas Day when there were no taxis!

Its a small resort of 3-4 cabanas that is being administrated by marvelous host Ximena. She was friendly helpful and very professional. You can feel a woman touch to the facility, clean, with the taste in regards to home decor and furniture. Very cozy and I loved also fully equipped kitchen so you can have your great breakfast prepared by yourself :)

Perfect place. Comfortable, but the true value is in the owners. After they took us to the airport our original flight was cancelled. A message later and they returned to the airport, picked us up and let us stay for another night without hesitation.

We stayed in the bungalow for 5 nights in October 2023. The room was clean and well appointed. Hosts were super helpful and friendly. We felt like it was a “home away from home”. Short 10 minute walk to some excellent restaurants and to the coastal walk.

Ideal place for a family traveling with teenagers -3 beds and 2 baths with everything you need to cook your own breakfasts/meals. The cabana is comfortable, spacious and well located. Ximena was very nice and picked us up at the airport with flowers and dropped us off with shell collars. In addition, she made arrangements to improve the wifi connection in our cabana.

Everything ! From the welcoming at the airport (with flowers) to the end of our trip everything was perfect. The apartment was spacious, very clean, well equipped. The bed was comfortable. the place is very quiet and we enjoyed our time on our patio so much. The owner was also so kind to us and she made sure we were ok and didn’t miss anything, plus she had tones of good recommandations (food, tours, etc). the location was also great, 10min from center walking distance and bonus part : right around the corner there is a minimarket that has a lot and mostly fresh and delicious vegetables !
