Room was a bit small for a family, we could put our bags in the locker, but it was a bit complicated getting everyone dressed and ready to go in the small space.

Location was amazing, and staff was friendly and provided a great recommandation for supper.

A beautiful hostel located in probably the most beautiful street of Valpo. Breakfast was delicious. The hostel was safe. Nice terrace to have a smoko.

Steps , to get up to the property, to get up to the hostel in the building above the bar and to get to your room. They were excessive but I’m not travelling with a rucksack so it made it more of a challenge to get my bag up.

Lovely hostel, many many rooms but it didn’t feel huge in an uncomfortable way. Staff were very helpful, nice to have the bar attached. Can’t comment on the kitchen as I didn’t use it. Breakfast was basic but everything you needed. Nice vibe to the place.

It was a great hostel. I had a 3 bed dorm to myself, so I was happy! The bed was very comfortable. Its an old creaky wooden floored double storied house with lots of charm and character. Good relaxing spaces. Excellent position in the most interesting part of Valparaiso. Some steps to walk up but manageable. The staff cleaned the kitchen every day which was excellent. Showers had hot water. Recommend.

the hostal has a lovely outdoor and indoor common area and is a 10 minute walk from a bunch of fun bars and the cerro alegre looking point. it’s not the cheapest hostal but it’s good quality for the price and has some perks like the free(ish) walking tour and discount flixbus tickets. i always check for bedbugs and found none.

The bunk beds are not drilled to the wall, so you can feel the whole bed moving when either of the person sleeping in it moves. In my top bunk there also was no plug to charge your phone, so I always had to do it away from my bed.

The sheets were super soft and comfy! I had such a good sleep here. The facilities were really nice and there were many areas outside of your room to chill.

The location was amazing, and if we hadn't paid a premium price then I would say the room/facilities and service were good. But even as it was new years the price seemed too high for what we got.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations on where to go and what to do in Valparaiso. The location was also very convenient, very close to Plaza Sotomayor, Cerro Alegre and other areas.
